Was there any news on that? Is it just cancelled or will it be probably released next year, when we will be getting 40 Generations toys?

I personally hoped that we'll be getting Hardhead.

    He's dead Jim.

... seriously though, I totally forgot about that, but here's to hoping it doesn't go away forever.

If this years Botcon was any indication, those secondary heads could have been designed for use in the exclusives. So maybe Botcon 2013? Personally, I hope for Quake.

Speaking of the Warpath remolded head, what about the Ratbat-ish one for Scourge and Lugnut's remolded heat?

    You mean something like this?

It was never confirmed, but it could happen.

Seems like most of the later Generations & RtS figures have yet to see their repaint/remolds. Wreck-Gar is the only one from the second wave of RtS stuff to get redone at mass retail (by Hasbro). It almost seems like Hasbro doesn't want to bother using those molds again and is content to let the club (and maybe Hasbro Asia) have them from now on.

No. The retooled head in Deluxe Warpath's instructions.

THAT'S what I want. Hardhead has been done. Give me a Gutcruncher Hasbro! It wouldn't even need the remolded head.

Let this be anything except Hardhead.

I'm pretty satisfied with my Universe version complete with Headmaster upgrade kit from Head Robots. :D

There were new heads on all the instructions for the RTS/later Generations figs. Shame they never came. I wanted that RTS Reflector from Preceptor.

That head looks spot on for Hardhead. I just don't like using a chest-turret tank bot for a non-chest-turret tank bot. It's a bit of a defining feature for me.

I imagine in the next wave of non-FoC Generations (~2013, IIRC) we'll see a lot of the remolds hinted at in the instructions.

While the head does look like Hard head, it's passable as Quake.

Wait there is supposed to be 40 generations this year?

I forgot all about the new head too, I even had the figure, but never even looked at the instructions.
