what happened to the ships?

    in the movie when bumblebee tackles the control pillar, all the drop ships and fighter ships get hit by this blue beam and got like sucked up.

    did they die or something? i mean i dont get it that just cause the space bridge broke and cybertron collapsed in on itself why did the decepticon ships get drawn in with a bunch of blue beams? it makes no sense.

    but the decepticons on the ground

    did you read the comics? no right? when the spacebridge get closed WHILE processing, all gets back to the place where they come from without harming!
