In ROTF there were two allspark fragments left. One was used to revive Jetfire, and the other Megatron. I just don't understand what the hell happened to them. Do they vanish after they've been used? Just WTF happened to them. They could've resurrected a shit load of cons, and maybe Jazz. I just don't understand, what do you think happened to them.

PS: None of these dumb answers like in your moms pants, or it vanished like Jolt and the Twins and stuff like that.

I'm guessing they were absored into them.

The energy at least would've likely been totally absorbed. Re-lighting Megatron's Spark, turning regular appliances into Transformers, giving Sam those visions, and reviving Jetfire were probably all they could've done.

Notably, Jetfire didn't get fixed in any fashion, and the fragment that was probably still lodged in him somewhere did nothing to stop his death.

To be fair, Scalpel actually repairs Megatron's body before he brings him back ["Need some parts, KILL ZE LITTLE ONE"], so it can be assumed the Shard only has enough power to bring them back, not repair the damage done to their body.

Jetfire had been stuck in comma since somewhere along the Cold War, all his systems were decayed and wrecked [kinda like a person who stands too much time without feeding, and ends up with weakened muscles and skeletons].

The movies have too many plot holes. I love them but the plot holes make me want a reboot. They messed it up like someone messing up a painting half way through

They got depleted of energy and probably just fell off and became useless pieces of rock fragments.

Jolt and the Twins have both pieces on the dark side of the plot hole.

So no one in here saw Transformers in 2007?

At the end, the Cube is absorbed by Megatron. They show this happening. Not sure how anyone could have missed that.

Not a plot hole if they explicitly show what happens.

The shards were absorbed like medicine when those TF were revived.
And just like drugs he was killed by an overdose.

    Allspark and energon = Drugs.

The BayFormers trilogy has been just one long drug war. :)

    ^ Lawl.

    Precisely.

Yet another fine example of alarmists leaping at the chance to illegitimately scream "PLOTHOLE!" instead of simply paying attention to what's actually onscreen and using their brains to figure it out instead of groupthink.

It's good to remember that in early drafts of the film, the Allspark was called The Energon Cube, and that idea of it being both matter and energy and able to convert between the two (as in the size-shifting cube moment) carries throughout the first two movies.

What was left of the cube in the two shards was enough energy to give/return life to Jetfire and Megatron, and it's implied the shards are converted to energy, and consumed during the process.

LOL you sir are just too much !

or how about megatron's shard was stuck in his body, hence explaining how he survived getting shot by Optimus in Egypt, ultimately ran out out power before the events of DOTM, thereby explaining hobo megatron?

Jetfire - nothing good, so yea, let's go with absorption

I could see the shard being integrated into their physical structure, but yeah, I don't think there's a consistent implication that it would have any more effects than reanimating them.

How does Optimus have the Matrix, when it was obviously blown to bits in ROTF...

Slow down there cheif... Ya know what else they showed in TF1? Optimus picking up the shard that was used in ROTF. So apparently the cube wasn't merely nor completely absorbed by Megatron.
