Is it just me, or does anybody else remember that the name Silverbolt was attached to DOTM when filming was taking place. I seem to recall that the voice actor was also identified. However, I can't recall any reference to this character since then. I know I just got pwned regarding Mudflap's absence, but i'm pretty sure about this unless I missed a post regarding him being cut?
We know nothing yet, but many are whispering the possibility that James Avery may play Sentinel Prime, and there may not be a Silverbolt afterall.
I'm still holding to the theory - and it's only a theory - that the old space shuttle that Prime has a chat with is Silverbolt, voice by James Avery. Said space shuttle gives us all the clunky exposition / plot progression that Jetfire was there to do in ROTF.
mad mad mad mad mad mad mad mad mad mad mad mad mad mad mad mad mad mad mad mad mad mad: mad Bay lied
When was Silverbot ever mentioned or confirmed by anyone? I thought James Avery had just confirmed he was doing voice over work for DOTM, and the fans assumed it would be for Silverbolt.
it was deff confirmed that he would be playing the voice... no wether thats still in play is the question. i could really careless if he is or isnt.
It's easier to just accept that there's no salt behind anything until it is absolutely confirmed and you're staring at the bot in the movie.
Just cause Avery may be sentinel doesn't mean he isn't in it. Someone said there was a possibility of the shuttle being a tf
Silverbolt could have been a temporary name for pretty much any one of the new bots. Blackout was, at one point, called Grimlock after all.
Isn't still too early to tell. The movie isn't even going to be out for 4 months not even everybot has been in the trailers. So it is still to soon to tell. Be patient you maybe pleasantly rewarded.
Bay never said anything abut this, so cool it with the "Bay lied!" stuff. Silverbolt's generally an aerial unit, so perhaps he's all CG if he's in it. That's why he hadn't heard anything.
