I thought Bill Fagerbakke was supposed to be one of the Wreckers. Wonder what happened with that...
"Is this Topspin?"
"NO!!! THIS IS PATRICK!!!"
He woulda' made an AWESOME Topspin
Isn't he the guy who played Corky in life goes on?
Nope, Dauber from "Coach" and Marshall's dad in "How I Met Your Mother."
On that note, what happened to James Avery?
I believe he voiced silverbolt in the game, but i'm not entirely sure.
He and his representatives were terribly misinformed.
"I'm not a Topspin."
Me: "Uh, that's the name of the Transformer you were slated to play."
I think he was Topspin [I know people say he was mute, But I think I heard him saying something on Chicago].
Not to mention BULKHEAD on Transformers: Animated!
I know he says something while in Chicago I just can't remember what it was.
I think it was "Let's kick some ass!" [in response to Optimus' "go distract the 'Cons"]
I have a feeling Bill Would have played Leadfoot, now I think he would have played a great Topspin.
Optimus: "They got my trailer. I need that flight tech. *cocks gun* Shockwave can't hug(hunt?) all of us at once. Wreckers, we need a diversion."
Roadbuster: "Let's get some!"
Leadfoot: "You got that right!"
Topspin is seen in the foreground of the shot, crouched down, looking back and forth. I don't think Topspin spoke during that sequence.
As for the OP's question: What happened to Bill Fagerbakke? We may never know what happened to him. The inner sanctums of his mind are an enigma.
Clearly there was just some kind of scheduling problem and he had to back out. Why else would Topspin be a mute.
*Imagines spilled milk*
Anyway, I never heard of any news regarding Bill Fagerbakke voicing Top Spin. But if I had to guess why, it's probably because of scheduling problems.
YES! Someone got the joke!
Yeah, there was a news article about it on the site a little while back. Bill said that he would be voicing "a stock Impala race car" in the film.
Told ya he talked!
Yes I agree. He did talk. You can clearly hear different accents among the Wreckers. And there was definitely three. I don't remember where in the film But I don't think it was the part where OP said to distract Shockwave.
As for it being Bill to voice Topspin, who knows? It wasn't credited but we all know how some people never got credited in the other movies as well.
