What happen to these autobots in the 1986 movie

    I know the ones who died int he movies but what ever happened to the ones who appeared in the movie but never showed up again in season 3 onward. Sideswipe,hound,sunstreaker,gears,bluestreak,grappleand tracks i nkow some of the characters i listed had off screen appearances. what happen to those autobots after the movie. I dont know where skids,inferno and hoist were they made no appearnces after season two but what happen to the autobots who made no appearances after the movie.

    Their fate is a mystery. If it isn't shown in the movie and not addressed in season 3, there's no definite answer.

    Why the hell isn't everybody whining and complaining and calling for a congressional hearing for these plot holes?????

    After the movie, Hasbro wanted to sell new toys, and those characters were all pre Transformers toys from other lines in Japan before G1 was born in the US.

    If they did not show their deaths, it's pretty much left to your imagination, character-wise.

    But, business/toy-wise, after season 2, besides Magnus, perceptor, some of the minibots, etc. were pre-TF, but they wanted to sell new toys, and that is pretty much why you never saw the ones you mentioned in the show again.

    I know it is frustrating with the plot holes, and no closure, but that's your answer.

    I always wondered the same thing when I was a kid, and I was quite frustrated, especially about Mirage, he was one of my faves, nevermind them killing off Prime, and it wasn't until much later I learned the truth about it.

    mirage was actually scripted to be killed by Megatron and its in the special features

    Personally, I think they survived the Great War, and later upgraded into Maximals.

    I love the 1986 movie and just wished Hound did something more than just looking bad-ass while Prime got ready for raping Decepticons.

    I like the fact with so many characters and so many fates were left undecided it gives lots of material for fans and comics to pick up on. If only they did.
