i did not see him in season thrre nor the movie what happen to him.
Harmony Gold happened to him.
In a deleted scene form every episode after Fire in the Sky Skyfire would accidentally become burried in ice AGAIN. Somehow, even when visiting the steamy jungles of South America, he would end up burried in ice! They fineally got tried of digging him out in late 1985. Last time he got out the Autobot just killed him so he would stop annoying them, and they made his parts into a new suit for Optimus Prime.
The animators forgot how to draw him so they replaced him with Broadside.
hw went to that mythical place that stores primes trailer in robot mode all the other g1 transformers who werent in the movie went
He was actually shown being blown up repeatedly as part of the Autobot armada that Optimus was leading into the Quintesson trap in the Season 3 episode "Dark Awakening".
So, for silly answers I'll say: Cloning experiment gone awry sidelined him until that episode
After they got Omega Supreme, the Autobots just kept staring over toward Skyfire, saying "you still here?" in a condescending tone.
Dumped bc Hasbro wanted to sell other toys.
I like to think that he ended up in the Armada Universe because of the storyline in the Dreamwave Armada comics, "World's Collide". In that storyline various transformers ended up in different universes. Skyfire was seen in the opening of the first episode of Transformers: Armada.
So I like to think because of the Dreamwave Transformers: Armada comic, the Generation One Cartoon Transformers Skyfire ended up in the Cartoon Transformers: Armada universe...
That's just a fun explain I made up. I don't know if it made any sense.
Really? I'll have to watch that again . . .
And about Skyfire . . . he's just a punk and dipped out on the Autobot's cause. No biggie.
I wondered that myself, he just disappeared. I just assume that he preferred not to fight and went into hiding or on a space road trip to get away from it all.
Most of the non-major characters disappeared eventually......
He got fedup of being little better than an aerial taxi and handed in his resignation.
Aerialbots. Nuff said.
The toy wasn't being made any more, so the writers forgot he existed because Hasbro didn't remind them.
Just like so many other characters in G1.
Breach of contract...
Got a message on Tele-tran 1 from a Robotech lawyer;case closed.
I don't where he went, but he was a great character.
As Omnus wrote. Take a look at that Autobot armada of spaceships in the season 3 episode Dark awakening, he is in there, or at least his character model is.
Here you go:
nice little comic strip. haha now if only all of idw's comics had that much emotion and character.
Separate names with a comma.
