The rediculous prices we pay here in Australia.

Scale. I mean I want the Human Alliance figures but it's sooo out of scale, nearly the same size as 2007 movie Prime. I'll get legends wheelie.

The price of Transformers here (Australia) is ridiculous. The price I pay for a Deluxe figure is almost the same as importing it and shipping it around the world (about A$5 less). I don't want to rant on it here because I have done that elsewhere, but It is what grinds my gears.

People that think only G1/BW/Older versions are fans.

As long as you enjoy it, even if it was just the movie, you are a fan, just not hardcore.

ALSO MOST SUPREME TOYS! 50 bucks for giant SCOUTS? No thanks.

I'm sure I can come up with lots of things, but one thing that always grinds those gears of mine would be whenever something is announced as an exclusive for Walmart. STOP THAT HASBRO! They don't order enough and they don't stock them in all their stores! I never saw alt Ravage and Rumble, I saw Universe Devastator once, and I saw one single Masterpiece Starscream. Target and TRU do great with stocking of their exclusives, but Walmart doesn't.

Hi, I'm Spoon, and this is what...

    Grinds My Gears!

    -High prices

    -Supreme Class

    -Optimus Prime toys

    -Shane McCarthy

    -The love for Blackarachnia's toy

-Anyone who thinks Cybertron is in anyway a good and well-written series

-Having the security guard stare at me, as I hastily shove my newly-bough TF into my school bag so as to not be seen by people from school holding a TF as I walk through Carlingford Court

-People who describe anything in G1 as 'deep'.

-Ridiculous amounts of praise for Bob Budiansky

scale doesnt bother me. if it did that would be stupid. if scale bothers people so much and they bitch about scale how do u ever expect a city bot or planet bot to be made?

the thing that grinds my gear is

THE FACT THERE ARE 30ISH AUTOBOTS AND ONLY 15 TOPS, DECEPTICONS IN THE CLASSICS LINE. fucking stupid.

For the tenth time in this thread, bloody ripoff price and crappy distribution in Australia. (Where's Samurai Prowl? Reckon I'll never see him in person.)

Also I don't like it much when some people's posts are all about how rare/how expensive their TFs are. I know everyone enjoys their hobby in different ways, though.

SydneyY, Samurai Prowl + Waspinator have been and gone. There was one week about 5-6 weeks ago when it hit TRU and Kmart. It only lasted a short time and that was it.

I never saw any of the masterpieces but prime, and it was the anniversary figure, so there is a slight diference, but never starscream, megatron, or any other.

The main thing that p#sses me off is that we've never had a decent Arcee figure.

& the fact that Animated Arcee came this close to being cancelled... It was like rubbing salt into the wound...

The other main thing that grinds my gears is how the quality of the plastic used in both Classics & Animated figures was excellent but the quality of the plastic in the Movie/ROTF lines feels so cheap & flimsy...

What grinds my gears? when people in the eastern states say they don't get transformers fast enough or too high a price. You try being in Perth. Damn, i'm stuck with shelfloads of Blackarachnias, Ratchets, and the odd Jazz. And they cost approx $A30. And Myer annoys me at $A40 for animated deluxes.

    Yeah, so make that Eleventh.

If you don't mid me saying, nope. Never seen em. And trust me, i check every week. Though i have been sick the past week. But still, they couldn't have gone that fast without some trace they were there. I check all stores within 1 hour from my place...And Perth ain't that big.

You've seen Waspinator, SydneyY? Argh! I hate Perth!!! I'm so bored of this distribution crap. I haven't even gotten ROTF Ransack yet. I've been so bored as to think about buying more Knockouts. And i already have 4. I'm tempted to get 11... *head explodes*

Agrees with the whole "we never get a good Arcee figure" notion.

Light piping. It looks horrible on most figures. And since most of my tfs are on shelves, the piping never works. Hell, even when I hold up most tfs to a light, it still never works. I would much rather have the eyes painted. However, there are a few figures who pull it off very well. Universe Inferno and rotf Sideways for example.

Then If I wanted to hook you up with some figures, and the parcel happened to weigh over 500g, it'd cost over 10 bucks! Fucking ridiculous and pardon me.

sorry off topic. :hijacked:  Please continue on griding.

I hate how we get 70 different scales for optimus prime, but we only get one tiny little Lugnut. This just plays into my insane scale obsession.
