I have one question for all. What got you into Transformers? I want to here some stories on what got you into the wonderful world of Transformers. Ex.

I was preparing for church on sunday in spring before Rotf came out,I was board so i went on youtube and in the "videos being watched right now" section i saw Transformers animated:Endgame Pt.2. In the picture i saw the character Sari tall so I watched it.After watching parts with her in robot mode i got curious,So i watched more when i got home.So I over the nexted Month watched every episode of Animated and it grew from an interest in Sari's character to a love of Transformers. the end. now your turn.

although tftm did not have much an impact on me, after watching rotf, it made me want to collect the toys. soon after, i was not just buying rotf stuff but tfu, g1 encore, henkei, etc. i am also watching g1 again on dvd. so, my being "poisoned" can be blamed on rotf...

I would come home from school and G1 was on right after "Inspector Gadget." I got hooked - my first TF was Bumblebee, but I convinced my mother to buy me Thundercracker as well. Loved Seasons 2 and 3, loved TFTM, been a fan ever since.

I saw a commercial for the G1 toys back in 1984 and wanted cars that turned into robots. I thought they were the coolest thing ever. Still think so today.

I'm a poster child for what Beast Wars was suppose to accomplish.
I was in the toy asile, saw BW basic Iguanus.

robot that turns into a lizard. SOLD.
then I discovered the show Beast Wars. Then a VHS copy of Transformers the movie. I've been hooked since.

I don't remember what got me started as a kid back in the 80s, but what re-invested my Transformers frenzy was the Armada Deluxe class Optimus Prime figure. I saw it casually walking through the toy isle one day and it just drew me like a bug zapper. 265 figures later, and here I am. Shock and awe; something good actually did come out of Armada. :)

I remember watching cartoons one day before school and saw Beast Wars. I was hook from that moment. Then I remember going to the store and seeing the figures and picked up Armadillo.

The morning of Saturday the 17th, 1984. Flipping through channels, pausing on a starfield...'Millions of years ago, on the planet Cybertron, life existed.'

    Obsessed from that second.

I was watching the Perry Mason one day when I was nine. After it came the Ramblin' Rod show, then this new cartoon I'd never seen before. It was full of cars and planes that turned into robots. FUCK, ROBOTS ARE COOL!!

My dad bought me Hound for xmas that year, still one of my fondest memories too this day. I wish I still had you Hound, I miss you.

I was a fan of Digimon and the transforming toys of the line. I saw a few Beast Machines episodes but, not surprisingly, it failed to catch my interest. One day my dad finally took me to Target and bought me and my brother Mirage and Ironhide from RID. We then tried to compete to see who could get the most of the Spychangers, and then the Landfill and Ruination combiners. *sigh*

I watched G-1 as a kid.....had a few toys as a child and then fell out of it.....my twin brother was into them since we were kids and never fell out of it. When he died, a series of events took place that sent me into the hobby and now i'm hooked. My favorite toy line is Alt./BT.
