No complaints about the voice cast; they're all wonderful, especially Ryan and Weaving. But I express curiousity as to how Welker would have done Laserbeak, whether it would have been as creepy. And besides, a Decepticon minion not voiced by Welker feels rather the odd 'Con out.

As runner-up, I'd love to have heard Bell back.

None. The voices were extrordinary. We don't need those melodramatic G1 voices.

They did; its both Frank Welker, just not synthesized.

And Frank Welker should've been Megatron. He really, really should've been Megatron.

But the fact it wasn't synthesized means it wasn't his G1 voice, just the same person providing the voice.

Of those choices, the only one I could go for would be Welker as Megatron; but only if he used his Transformers the 3D Ride/TFP voice. I personally don't think Greg as Jetfire, Bell as Sideswipe or Welker as Mirage were anything special.

Also, when did Garry Chalk voice Leadfoot?

Well, considering that Frenzy, Ravage and Laserbeak were all voiced by different VAs in the movieverse, it doesn't really seem like anyone is the odd man out.

This link says he did: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leadfoot_(Transformers)

Forgot about Frenzy, but he was Barricade's minion, and Welker didn't get cast in the first film. In ROTF, Soundwave and Ravage were voiced by Welker, so I was hoping that in DOTM Laserbeak would also be voiced by Welker to complete the classic trio.

My only disappointment in the voice acting was that Soundwave wasn't synthesized. That would be like Doctor Who not synthesizing the voice for the Daleks. It's just such an iconic part of the character that an un-synthesized voice just sounds wrong.

Other than that little nit pick I was happy with all the voice actors. Things like the Joe Pesci style Wheelie were way better than if we would have had G1 Wheelie for the movies.

    Dan Gilvezan as Bumblebee.

I would have loved a voice for the guy.

"Although the animated Transformers series was canceled before Leadfoot was released, Leadfoot did appear briefly in animated for in Transformers commercials. He was voiced by Garry Chalk, who went on to become a prolific Transformers voice actor."

Yeah, I have no clue what they're talking about. And there's no source for that. He voiced Silverbolt in the Transformers commercials...

Behind The Voice Actors - Transformers

Doesn't matter. Neither the particular casting of the individual film or it being Barricade's minion was specified. :p  It was merely "a Decepticon minion", which as includes Scorponok, I guess.

I liked Hugo Weaving as Megatron but Frank Welker as Megatron would have been awesome.

You're missing the point. Most of the characters you list are reinterpreted in the film, so ripping their voices straight from G1 would not make sense in several cases, specifically but not limited to Laserbeak, Mirage, Jetfire, and Leadfoot.

Mr. Welker. He showed he can still do an awesome Megatron voice with TF the Ride and TFPrime. I think Hugo still did a good job though.

    This.

I don't want a single voice in those movies changed. Each voice fit the character perfectly and ranged from realistic to creepy to outright awesome.

Jolt? By all means, give him a G1 voice. I don't dislike the G1 voices (aside from a few corny ones) but the movie voices that are already there, especially Megatron, were much better.

The movie voices were fine. In some cases I liked them better.

Frank Welker should've done Megatron since Cullen did the voice for Optimus.

Frank Welker, similar to the Prime Megatron voice.
