I dont know i thought scorponok would be more expensive cause he is bigger than metroplex and same amount of modes. But i seen metroplex cost more way back in 1986 and now which is true.
Scorponok for sure. Metroplex got knocked off, as well as a release on the Transformers Encore line. That basically means there's a bigger supply of him out there, so in theory the prices should be driven down. Certainly the odds are more in your favour of finding a reasonably priced Encore than a cheaper Scorponok.
Right now since Metroplex has been Re-issued , the Price for him has gone down... and Scorponok is the High one...... and actually Scorps has always been the more expensive on.... During when Headmaster came out, it was the time when G1 started to Die down a little, and since there wasn't a cartoon to fully promote the later lines from Headmaster years on up to 1990/91 ..... kids weren't buying TFs as much and more kids had Metroplex then Scorponok.... in therefore Metroplex was easier to find on the second market and made him less valuable then Scorp.
Metroplex doesn't go for a whole heck of a lot, $100 loose, at the most. Scorponok is a lot more valuable (mine was cheap $0)
Agreed. Easily Scorponok. Also - Even before the Encore Metroplex came out parts for him were quite easy to find cheaply; however ask Vangelus how long it took him to complete his Scorponok without paying ridiculous prices for the last few parts.
Scorponok without question! I wish Metroplex was worth the ~$100 people are stating. They're only selling for around $50 on eBay right now; mine took over a month to find a buyer at that price too.
Even though I've still got mine complete from the old G1 days this thread gives renewed happy to my finding another G1 Scorponok and G1 Metroplex both complete for very little cost at car boot sales a short while back. Can't give individual prices as they were sold as lots with other complete G1 figures, but I suppose you could split it up and say around £9 for Metroplex and £12 for Scorponok. So the prices people are saying here reminds me just how lucky I was with those particular finds.
