I'm trying to get a decent estimate of when figures will start showing up in stores so I need data.

At Botcon 2011 what figures were revealed?

    BotCon 2011 - Transformers Wiki

Dark of the Moon Air Raid (an AWACS plane), Armor Topspin and Dark Iron (a Sideswipe retool patterned after Quickstrike), plus an exclusive Leadfoot and Twin Twist deluxe 2-pack for Target. Cyberverse figures included Shockwave with Fusion Tank and Ratchet with Lunar Crawler, and an exclusive set based around the October 11, 2010 on-set accident where a police SUV collided with a Bumblebee prop vehicle (said to include a battle-damaged Bumblebee and a pair of characters in police deco, later revealed in the display case to be Barricade and Crankcase).
    An Amazon.com-exclusive 25th Anniversary Unicron.
Items previewed for Transformers: Prime included deluxe versions of Cliffjumper (and its redeco/remold/whatever Terrorcon Cliffjumper), a Vehicon, Soundwave with Laserbeak, Ratchet and Wheeljack, plus voyager Optimus Prime, Bulkhead, and Starscream. For Prime Cyberverse, Legion versions of Wheeljack, Bumblebee and Arcee were shown, plus a Commander version of Ironhide.

No. He's asking about 2011 because he's going to use that as a frame of reference; by figuring out what figures were on display then compared to when they showed up, he's hoping to extrapolate when he should start expecting 2012 product to show up.

Well, somehow I missed that. My bad.

For the 2012 Botcon, some pictures show when figures will be released (mostly July and August IIRC). The Botcon 2011 pictures also had release dates printed on some (or many) of the name plaques for reference. As for when the figures actually were released depends on where in the world and where in the USA you live in. Some places get them before others. I seem to always get things dead last, if at all, in my area.

reads thread title * doh! ;)
uhh, OP dude... maybe the news section that Spr Mod "Destro' posted on the 2012 Botcon display cases along with SDCC news might help ya?

in addition there is a thread that some member posted about the residual trend of Botcon toy prices for the last couple of years to check out! :p

So that took a year to go from gray proto to in-store product.

I believe most (if not all) of the product reveals that had actual painted prototypes or production models on display in the various cases at Bot Con had release date placards with them. So, if you look at that release date and add/subtract a few weeks for your area, I'm sure you'll nail it pretty close.
