So, I was just browsing eBay for random TF stuff and came across this auction: SMALL LOT OF TRANSFORMERS STUFF | eBay Who is the green armored car? I've went through a couple TF IDers but didn't find anything relevant.
There appears to be a logo containing the Iron Man helmet on the side, is it an Iron Man/Avengers tie-in toy, perhaps?
Oh, I vaguely resemble a green military vehicle that comes with a War Machine... but I can't find any proof of it existing so I may be making it up.
I think its just a KO non transforming version of Movie 1 Landmine, here is a link to it. Landmine (2008) - Autobot - www.tfu.info Or more specifically of ROTF Dune Runner, also here is another link. Dune Runner (2009) - Autobot - www.tfu.info
Calling that a non-transforming KO is like calling a model kit of an F-15 Eagle a non-transforming KO of G1 Starscream. Actually wait, no, that would be better. They have similar alt-modes but... it's a really generic alt-mode. Which is a point you proved when you posted two completely different figures.
It's an Iron Man War Machine RC car, although I don't know the manufacture. The side says 'United States War Machine'.
Excuse me Soundwinder, but did you actually look at the pics, the basic shape of that and Dune Runner are the same, albeit not exactly, and also by definition a knockoff is considered just that,a copy of an official product. And since it doesn't look legit I am calling it as I see it,a knockoff. Finally you can talk all you want about F15 Eagles and Starscream but I know the difference between a model kit and a transformer and I know they are not the same,so its all about your perception of what is and is not your idea of a knockoff.Just saying.
It has the same basic shape because it's also a dune buggy. It's a really generic alt-mode. That's not really... up for debate on what makes a knock-off a knock-off, you know?
As others have pointed out, it's from the Iron Man toyline. Thus, it is neither a knockoff (it's Hasbro), nor is it any sort of version of a transformer. That's being generous and separating your "knockoff" comment from your "version of" comment. By your definition, many official Hot Wheels are knockoff versions of autobots. It's a toy. It's a car. It's connection to Transformers ends there. Hence, Soundwinder's F-15 model comment.
