I only heard this term today regarding issues I have with a seller and someone told me he had "gone rogue". Can someone explain this?

Breaking the trend of the norm, the status quo, and going against the plan, the program or the grain. Essentially doing something entirely different when the intention and expectation was for you to do something else.

When referring to a seller, I'm pretty sure it means that the seller is no longer responding to messages, and that they pretty much stole your money and have no plans on sending you the item(s).

In this case, it means the seller's fucked off and isn't going to cooperate.

Usually a seller who has been legit but then all the sudden says fuck it. Typically they will list stuff for cheap as a last ditch effort and then run with the $$$

When it comes to eBay, going rogue would be when looking at a seller's feedback and they had good marks then all of a sudden the trend shifts to getting alot of negative and neutrals. I don't mean just an occasional 1-2 but where after a sudden point, almost every single feedback coming in after is negative.

Going rogue could honestly be taken a lot of ways but in this context i'd guess it means a good seller gone bad in some way.

It's pretty obvious what it means.

Going rouge usually means "To go "rogue" means to make a large deviation from one's strict training."

When referring to a seller, it means he used to be a good seller, then one day he turned cruel, so to speak. He stops being a good seller, not sending you something, not responding to messages, and most likely just sitting there, counting his money while saying "Sucker!"
