I tried to transform 74 Camaro Bumblebee the first time, not realising I had to push the button...whoops. Thing doesn't fully connect back anymore.

Also, both my Movie Cliffjumper and Stealth Bumblebee have problems with their chest automorph. Strangely enough, my regular Bumblebee is just fine.

I think I also broke Evac.

G1 Optimus (I remember hearing stories how the arms would break off if your not careful during transformation)
    G1 Megatron: the same
    G1 Jetfire: ditto

Agreed. he doesn't break easily, except for the possibility of getting his head antennae caught when you put him in jet mode. A friend if mine did that when he was a kid, and it snapped one of them right off. He does yellow very easily, though.

It took a little time, but the hinge on the Megatron gun of my MP-01 broke as well. Rubbery plastic does not good hinges make.

There's also Movie Ironhide. Damn thing just fell to pieces when I threw it against the wall after I couldn't get it to transform right.

That'll happen to most objects when you do that. Also, keeping toys in perspective ftw.

    o_O ....

    LOL

That's exactly the reason why I won't bend the stock on mine. I knew the tolerances were being pushed too far. When something doesn't want to bend, even though you know it can... well I learned the lesson before it was too late.

I just gave the gun to Starscream, who seems to hold it better anyway.

Mine would be Energon Scorponok, one of his shoulder (to be more precise, armpits... if TFs have such a thing) panels cracked during transformation.

Upon inspection that panel is really thin to support such a strong ratchet motion during transformation. Til' now I've yet to figure a way to fix it... :banghead:

76 Camaro Bumblebee fell off my shelf and his door snapped off. It just kinda sits on there now and has to be removed when transforming him. I broke one of Universe Powerglide's wings off the first time I transformed him. I had to exchange him for another.

    Oh, where to begin...

G1 Mirage: For the curious, if you disassemble a G1 Mirage, this is what the upper torso looks like:

See that dinky little knob at the bottom? That's the ONLY THING connecting the upper and lower halves of him together and what has to not only bear the stress of his legs being pulled out but also the rotation of his top half during transformation. Mine survived for 25 years and suddenly decided to snap in half while I was restickering him. :cry

Any G1 combiner limbs with noses are also prone to damage, the worst being Slingshot, Drag Strip, and Blades. If you actually assemble your gestalt, there's a 50/50 chance that removing them during disassembly will either break their noses or at least shave the colored paint right off their faces. :(

Mine would have to be the TFCC Club Combiner figures. They're all made using mostly translucent plastic, and they have NO cusioning when shipped. The ONLY exception was Landquake, and that was just a plastic packaging bubble (the section that usually holds twistie ties on most figures). they arrive, cracked, they transform, cracked, and when I get Heatwave this spring, he too will likely be cracked.
