Looks nice. Too bad very few people will be able to own it. Oh well, here's to hoping for Takara Classics.

No offense, but if that's even remotely teal, you really need to adjust your color balance on your monitor.

Checked it, and yes, I am referencing issue 14.

Although, after re-reading one line, I could be off on the who, but it's still possible with a plot twist.

    I have to agree.

Now finally seeing Botcon Thundercracker...I suddenly feel 100% less angsty. I already have a G1 Thundercracker. And honestly, if Hasbro had released Classics Thundercracker in some fashion, I think it would have looked better than this.

Now I am perfectly okay with Ramjet, Skywarp and Starscream: the OFFICIAL Classics trio of seekers :thumb

And if for some reason later on I feel the need to have a Thundercracker, Dirge or Thrust in my group of Classics jets, I'll just paint up my own with an appropriate classics scheme.

Thrust better have some new wings.

I'm not so pissed about not getting these either. I could easily paint my own after seeing these.

We shall see then, though I'm betting the post-convention eBay auctions will be favoring them Seekers. (not that I plan on giving any up)

No hints on the attendee extras, huh maybe huh maybe huh huh huh?? :)

Pretty awesome. Again, this set is shaping up pretty well. I love the metallic paint. :D

Looks like everyone who's getting the set will be pretty pleased. That's always good.

Thundercracker's head is molded in blue plastic. The helmet is painted over black (like Starscream) and the face silver (like Skywarp). He just uses more of his amount of paint applications towards his head while the others use more in their jet mode and different areas.

Thundercracker is a thing of beauty. The blue is gorgeous, and I love how he follows a lot of Starscream's paint deco layouts in robot mode. As he should, but uses Skywarp's silver and their heads are similar. He is a thing of beauty. Awesome job guys!

The upper half is black plastic painted blue (like the silver on Starscream) so there is a lot of paint, just it matches the molded plastic below it. :)  The arm cannons are done exactly as I had hoped on Thundercracker (and for that matter, every other Classic Seeker has the colors exactly as I had hoped with paint applications and mold colors).

Fuck. Well, there goes any hopes I had of getting a full set of Classics Seekers (well, without paying an arm and a leg for them anyways). Kinda wish they woulda just stuck with no-name characters, or used different molds, and just let Hasbro find a way to release these particular repaints (be it non-show filler for Heroes or whatever).

So close to perfect, and yet so far... The robot mode is cool and all, (shiny!) but the alt mode looks mostly nekkid with no faction symbols, or paint apps for the vertical tailfins.

I love how you make it sound like FP/Botcon is twisting Hasbro's arm, and robbing Hasbro of the opportunity to release the seekers at retail. :rolleyes2

And why should the club or convention be limited to no-name characters?
