So I thinking of selling or trading these, but want to gauge what people think is reasonable price to expect. I am thinking of doing them as a lot, so whoever gets em gets an automatic collection.

I have them complete with Card Backs, Instructions, and all accessories. The Voyagers I have the boxes for. Never know if that means anything, or me just storing shit for no reason.

    WFC:
    Optimus Prime
Carbot V Axe for Optimus Prime
    Bumblebess
    Cliff Jumper
    Megatron
    Soundwave

    Prime:
    FE Takara Bulkhead
    FE US Arcee
    FE US Bumblebee
    FE US Starscream
    RiD Optimus Prime
    RiD Megatron
    RiD Ratchet
    RiD Wheeljack
    RiD Cliff Jumper
    RiD Soundwave

What do you guys think is a reasonable price to ask if I did sell or trade these. I have a feeling the answer will lead me to my decision.

Most will prolly be under retail value a bit except for the FE figures. Not sure on the going rates on them atm though.

Valuing individually with a lot price at the bottom.

    Optimus Prime $10
Carbot V Axe for Optimus Prime $20
    Bumblebess $5
    Cliff Jumper $5
    Megatron $8
    Soundwave $12

    Prime:
    FE Takara Bulkhead $80
    FE US Arcee $20
    FE US Bumblebee $10
    FE US Starscream $20
    RiD Optimus Prime $15
    RiD Megatron $15
    RiD Ratchet $8
    RiD Wheeljack $6
    RiD Cliff Jumper $6

As a lot, $50 for the WFC stuff, $150 for the Prime stuff... Maybe $180 total. The only things worth anything are the FEs and the Corbot axe for WFC Prime.

I honestly don't know on price, but if you do decide to sell I may be interested in the WFC lot if you would sell it separate from the Prime lot.

I think this is pretty acurate, although I think FE Bulkhead is going down in value and WFC prime and megatron are going up (most likely due to FOC and the amazing customs some people have been doing with the megatron mold)

I am with you on the Prime Lot, that's what I was figuring. But I was higher on the WFC lot. What did you do to reference your price? Just curious?

The Takara one actually is holding its value better then the Hasbro one believe it or not.

I sell a lot of loose modern figures. Do you want them sold or do you want them to sit?

The Corbot axe is on ebay for $25 with free shipping, and that's for a new one. Yours is opened, so I can't see anyone paying more than $20 for it. Bumblebee is going to be a hard sell even at $5, as is Cliffjumper (sorry, the molds suck and are still relatively common). Soundwave, Prime, and Megatron aren't going to move at all above about $10 each... I figure Soundwave will be losing value rather than gaining it (whatever that upcoming Voyager is) and Prime will maybe gain a little value, but none of them are really in demand. Cardbacks don't do much (if anything) for value. The only way I could possibly see the lot going for more is if they were MOSC.

WFC stuff as a whole is relatively common and the demand isn't high enough to justify super high prices for any of it. Top dollar would be to part out Prime with the axe ($35), Megatron ($10), and Soundwave ($10) and then donate Cliffjumper and Bumblebee.

Good to know. I wasn't doubting you, I am just interested in how people come with their sale prices. When I buy stuff, my calculation usually is:

    - EBay average completed sale price
    - Minus 9% for EBay fee that the seller no longer has to pay
    - Minus 3% if I send as a gift (only for long term users here)

Then that is my offer. So I just wanted to see how others did that.

this one for prime, megs, BB and SW loose sold for $66+$33 shipping, so $10 shipped.
Transformers Generations WFC Optimus Prime Megatron Soundwave Bumblebee loose | eBay

Prime's seeling for between $15-30 loose before shipping (i sorted by price+shipping highest first)
    wfc prime | eBay

same thing for megatron but he comes in at $20-30 shipped
    wfc megatron | eBay

    and soundwave is $20-30 shipped
    wfc soundwave | eBay

so these are all completed listings. If I were you I would probably package all the WFC as one lot and sell it for $100 shipped (maybe $125?). God I don't know, sometimes it seems like things sell for a lot one day on ebay and not so much the next.

Yeah, when I priced it out myself, I came into $100 for the WFC set and $200 for the Prime Set. Give or take like 10%

If I encounter someone incredibly difficult, I do a weighted average of the last 5-10 sold on ebay, less 15%.

Starscream's not worth much at all. You'd be better off just handing him off to me for nothing. I'll even cover shipping.

easy answer total oregnial retail price (-10% if you open it) then + 10% for each year sense it was released gives a fearly good total of how much its worth and then add in want factor and inflation

want factor is messey it can add or minus from a figure e.g. fortmax it increases his value but with g1 topspin and movie bb its hurts there value ALOT lol

10$ toy 3 years ago would be worth 13.31 roughly plus inflation only way i can work this out is it changes the base sum you start with

My advice is to keep them. One day you will want them again and realize their value has skyrocketed to get them back.

been needing to sell off my WFC stuff too,...as well as a few prime toys.

i'm just gonna throw mine on ebay and let the market dictate the price.

some money is better than the no money they're makin me right now...packed away, unseen and forgotten.

Well, you do have 3 1/2 days on the auction still. Most of the auctions I list either get a bid on the first day or people wait until 24 hours left.
