In case you didnt know what they look like I took some pictures of them :) .
I like them a lot and thats why I focused on getting them first as I thought they were really good.

You should post those in the Animated Support Group thread or whatever Peaugh called it. :)

Also, I especially like Swoop, and his weapon is just icing on the cake because it's not something a sleek & stealthy figure like him would have. It also kinda reminds me of Brooklyn from Gargoyles. Grimlock & Snarl are cool too, but Swoop's my favorite. I really need to hurry up & buy one.

I love them all, but obviously Grimlock is my favourite! They're all loaded with so much personality.

Grimlock's legs are too short, his head too visible in alt mode.

    Swoop is depressingly simplistic.

    Snarl i quite like however.

Grimlock is awesome, Swoop is good, Snarl is a piece of crap. Great look, awful toy.

voyager grimlock got me into animated. I really like his animated incarnation. looks beefy in bot mode and has a good stylized trex alt mode.

I gotta agree that snarl is crap. he looks interesting in pictures and even standing there but he is not a good toy. glad I got him on clearance.

swoop is brilliant. yes it's a simplistic, small toy but it's dead on and just has a lot of personality. one of my favorite animated figs right here.

I actually like that about a lot of the animated figures, you can get a sense of personality from them without even ever watching an episode of the show (at least I never have). Most other series kinda have generic blank robot stares.

Grimlock & Swoop were amazing, but Snarl never really did it for me. i didn't feel the same amount of Love put into him. Plus I would have preffered to have gotten a Sludge figure as well. hehe

Heh, none of them are transformed into robot mode correctly in these pics.

Swoop's waist should be turned around, the sides of his chest slide up and lock into the wing piece when you slide that up too, Grimlock's lower arms should slide into his upper arms, and Snarl's body is really, really... off. But to be fair, his transformation makes it really hard to figure out how everything is supposed to go.

I love the Animated Dinobots. They take up 3 spots of my top 5 Animated figures. Yeah, there are things that are off with all of them (Grimlock's lack of bicep swivel, obvious robot head in dino mode, Swoops lack of wrist swivels hurt him and Snargle's...well...pretty much everything) but they just ooze personality, Swoop especially. I really wish we could have got the other 2 Dinobots in the show and toy form, or even just toy form.

I liked them well enough, although I do think there were one or two things that could've been done to improve them. I also wish they'd been able to store their weapons away while in dinosaur mode. And Swoop holding his weapon in his claw doesn't count.

Although Snarl could kinda make practical use of his cheeto club as flame breath:

I think they were fun toys and anytime one can get a solid reincarnation of the dinobots we should get excited. I just wish they had the other two especesially snarl.

I like Grimlock best in dino-mode. I've never transformed him! I like Swoop's bot-mode more than his Petradactyl mode. Snarl's bot-mode is meh to me but his dino-mode is okay.
