I remember that classics had them and that it didn't bug me at time. There's just something about that picture of Tracks with it though that doesn't sit right with me. I'm kinda torn because I loved rubsigns back in the day and on Beast Wars Transmetals but I feel a bit like switching back and forth like this just won't look as good when they're all put together. I think I may invest in some more reprolabels to replace the rubsigns when that wave creeps out.

    What say you?

I'm undecided... I quite liked them on Classics but for some reason the sight of one on Tracks just isn't doing it for me. I think I'll feel differently when I have him in hand.

I didn't mind the rubsigns.....except on Classics BB. His always peels off. Cliffjumper never did though.

I'd rather they have a painted symbol on instead. When they're not hot they're just black squares.

I never liked them, even back in the g1 days. It's not like they were ever used in the comics or shows or movies.

If any of the figs I wanted came with one I'd just peel it off and put a proper faction sticker on there.

I like them for some reason. Maybe it's the whole "robots in disguise" thing where the faction symbols aren't blatantly displayed all over the place, because I'm sure it would be easy to tell who is what from a Transformer standpoint (that red, white, and blue jet guy blowing up an oil rig? Decepticon). I'm personally happy that the rubsigns are returning.

I prefer them to look like they do in the fiction. I want homages to that, not homages to the old toys.
I will remove all rubsigns and add an ordinary faction sticker instead.
All my classics and Botcon Dreadwind have had their rubsymbols removed.

I've nothing against them. I do prefer proper symbols as well, but the callback to G1 is awesome and much appreciated. Such a pity that Lockdown from Animated lost his in the transition to toy form - I liked the fact he had no clear allegiance at first glance. Suited the character.

I like them, Happy to see them return. My only issues is that why didn't the 1st few release this year have them? Thrust and Dirge could have benefited from having them to match the other 4 seekers better.

We seem to be in the minority concerning our approval of rub signs.

I rather have the spark crystals back. They were cool back in the BW and BM days.

As long as they aren't in a spot that puts them at risk of peeling off, I have no problem with them.

I used to be pretty ambivalent towards rub signs, but the original Classics line taught me to hate them.

Tracks needs his huge honking Autobot symbol on his hood.

I don't like them. I prefer them to have their colored faction symbol.

I prefer tampographed symbols, they look "neater". Rubsigns and stickers are sometimes askew.
