I thnk this is the real deal, the original japanese exclusive white astrotrain, but i cant get over the word reissue in the title. i've asked the seller to take pics of the paperwork baggie, the toy in the styrofaom, and the copyright date. hopefully it all checks out. this would be a good deal if it does.

does anyone have the copyright date on the reissue white astrotrain, also the reissue doesnt have the nasa stickers. well, i'll just wait for the pics.

I did. thats what i do, hit bin, so it guarantees me the auction and then ask questions if its fishy. then i back out of the auction if it doesnt satisfy me. then i settle the fees up with the seller afterwords. that way i protect myself.

It's real. He talks about the robot points being intact and the styrofoam being in good condition in the description. Congrats on the great score :)

    Ebay:
The packaging seems real enough but the Astrotrain could easily be a reissue. I would've asked more questions before bidding.

got the pics today, and its real and about as good as you can get to C9+ condition and is totally unused with everything untouched. I know its been reissued, but to get a real, original white astrotrain for the price i got it at....all i can say is damn, i'm happy.

How in the hell do you avoid neg. feedback doing that? Man, I'd leave you some. That'd piss me off as it's a time-waster and that's the worst.

    Congrats, though!

thats how i protect myself on something that is fishy or i dont have enough info on, but the price is too good to be true. but i always settle up with fees with the sellers, and i've never had any problems. and usually i have up to a week to pay, so I ask all the questions i can. I've been doing this for awhile and I'll never go back. this is the way to do it. usually i just ask for more photos and theyre happy to oblige. like this guy, i asked the guy to end the auction, he did, and then I bought the astrotrain, asked more questions cause the description was kinda vague, got the pics today and now everything is kosher. and if a guy thinks i'm wasting his time, he must not be too serious about selling in the first place because i intend to buy, i just want to make sure I dont get a pile of shit in the mail because I didnt inquire alittle more.

    hopefully you underestand.
