Here is a quick wallpaper I made for the new Transformers movie. What do you all think?
Pretty slick work.
how do you do that kinda of stuff i see alot of ppl with pics and wallpapers like that and i dont get how you all make them like that
Well, since I am a Linux person I use a program called the Gimp. It is a great graphics program like Photoshop. I guess you could use photoshop too. They have a version of Gimp for Windows also. Check it out! http://www.gimp.org/windows/
Generally it's very good nuopus.
My only criticism is that at least for me the eyes at the top look out of place and distract or even detract from the wallpaper in general
nice, here's what I think (adds as wallpaper)
Do you think it would be best to add a metalic top and bottom frame and leave it blank up top? Not a large frame, just something small to separate the edge of he picture from the top and bottom?
thanks for the help oh i dont think i said it but thats wallpaper you made looks sweet or cool or awesome take you pick
I'd say just make a wallpaper of the scene as it was presented on yahoo.com. But keeping the Transformers logo at the bottom of course
Here is another version. Plain with grey top and bottom border with a cityscape in the background. I made the city darker as to not take away from the actual TF pic. What do you think of that one? Or should I up one with just a black top and bottom border?
Here are two more versions of it. One that is plain black, and the other with the Transformers logo at the bottom.
Plain w/ TF Logo:
Impressive. Most Impressive.
Obi-wan has trained you well.
mostly a copy and paste job, it okay i guess.
A collage is all a copy and paste job too, but nobody looks at a collage and says "meh ... its only a copy and paste job." This is fan made wallpaper from a movie shot I happen to love. I'm not exactly going to take out Maya and create my own.
i did say its okay you know.
its not like i went 'omg copy n paste so crap'.
now if you overlaid the type and the eyes over the still an applied layer effects, i might have said more than okay.
Looks great! Except for the cars that arent supposed to be there ... like the Porsche camera car
well its now my wallpaper.. minus the top adn bottom bits though, the eyes look too far apart
Looks pretty nice.
