Spot on. 8.5 here too. Even though I loved it, it has its flaws.

I gave it an 8. It was awesome. It did have flaws, but it ended it well enough.

I'm the same: my 8 is being generous. I'd probably give DOTM a 7.5, and TF(2007) an 8.5.

 

had to go 7 while I liked it for the most part and it really is the better gelled movie of the 3 just somethings really detracted like shockwave soundwave and a bunch of characters who didnt fit or were just wrong. Laserbeak oddly was a surprise and fit rather well but its things like laserbeak getting more speaking lines than soundwave seems bizzare.

Even though Prime gets all brutal and stuff I feel they really didnt go ROTF bad with him.

This time it was understandable and Prime really didnt seem to be going all vicious with the exception of Sentinel. I thought the first shot through the chest was bad enough but the begging for mercy and then just two shots to the head is way to over the top. Prime basically executes yet another transformer with shots to the face or other wise. Seriously I dont really find that stuff heroic, beating em yes but execution, that is what lower forms of life do as there are no morals.

 

I'm in love with this movie, but there are a few spots that bothered me. It's a solid 9 for me.

 

It had it's flaws, but for what it was, entertainment-wise it was solid 10.
Movie-quality-wise it was like an 8.

 

I give it an 8.6 out of ten, so I'll round up to 9

 

9/10 simply because I wanted just a little more out of SW, Shockwave, Barricade and Scrapper.

 

it's a solid 8 for me. Has a few flaws, but i really enjoyed it. The theater i saw it in had trouble with the 3d at first (frankly i think it was because it might be a bit hard to transisiton between 2d pre-recorded apollo/Kennedy footage and the 3d stuff that Bay actually shot). But that does not detract from my experience seein the movie.

 

I liked it, but there things in the comic (the twins deaths, real transformers names, a truce, ect.) that could have made it better.

 

8.5.... Felt like something was missing...

 

6 or 7. A good movie but until the live action team learn how to put together a tighter storyline and build better villains they won't convince everyone to give it a shot.

About an 8. Good and fun, but still has quite a few issues.

 

I'd say 8.5, but since that's not an option I put 9.
Transformers would get 8, RotF 6.5
