Like, occupation-wise (if you are a student, what are studying to be?), and is there anything you do that is not job-related that you are very passionate about? Some cause, some mission?

Jokes are welcome, but I am also very honestly curious to know what kinds of people there are on the 2005 Boards.

    I'll go first.

I am a fourth grade teacher. I am also a small group leader at my church, passionate about evangelism and leading people to faith.

    Bam. Simple. How about you?

I'm in Beginning Drafting right now, which is a prerequisite for the CAD classes. Once I'm out I'm hoping to be an engineer or something similar.

I'm a soldier in the US Army. My primary job is that of a health physics technician. Basically I do stuff related to radiation safety in a medical environment. That includes waving around Geiger counters on a daily basis and teaching classes on radiation safety to hospital and other staff workers.

I'm currently a High School student, going to a Career Center for Interactive Media. I plan on going to Stark State College for Video Production. Then I plan on going to a Film College for Directing. Then finally work my way up in the movie making buisness to Director, where I will make at least one Batman film, and a Transformers film. Probably Beast Wars, since I grew up watching it, and I have a pretty good idea of what would make the fans happy. Tell me what you think of that plan, and any kind advice/comments are welcome. Peace out.

Cool thread, but man, mine sounds *REALLY* uncool after Tenebrouser.

I have been in HR with a global consulting firm for almost ten years. Love the work, love the people - no complaints.

Factory worker. I work at a Ford Truck plant and all I do for 8 hours is remove the left side front door of F-150s. Thank God I have an MP3 player with me at all times, or I would go nuts there. I was going to U of M-Dearborn for Communications but am insted switching to a communication vocational school called Spec's Howard School of Broadcasting. Start in November.

I love it. When things are down and there's nothing to do I can spend my day here at TFW or sci-fi conventions or trade shows or at the Nintendo Store in midtown or having drinks at Dallas BBQ or at Toys R Us. AKA the staff and I have a lot of fun! :D

I work at a Starbucks slingin' coffee. For the most part, I enjoy it, but I really don't want to make a career out of it.

I also like to pretend I write comics, despite having no one to draw them for me.
