I was just wondering, for those who collect TFs, do you save the whole box, or just the card backing? I am not sure what to do as I am running out of space for the whole boxes. They are all over my room, as I put them wherever I can find available space...

I save instructions and cut out the bio/specs for TFs that comes in boxes. I have no room to save boxes.

The only boxes that I do save are rare and limited edition TFs.

Garbage for the entire lot. I limit myself to retail Transformers and don't blow the entire wad on limited editions and whatnot. Box art and Tech Specs are not that big of a deal to me.

I keep the boxes for my leader class and some voyager class, the rest go in the recycle bin. Like the other person said, I display mine, so I really don't need the boxes.

Trash 'em. Even all of the Henkei packaging.

I've only kept a handful of boxes so far.

For boxed figures, like Voyager, or Leader, I keep the whole box, and stack them away. I keep the ones on cards in folders...

Lately I've started keeping them, but that's really just because I'm too lazy to take them to the trash.

Dang I must be turning in to some sort of hoarder. I keep all my cardbacks AND all my boxes (along with plastic inards) and store them above my garage on the rafters. I probably have ten or more huge boxes full of boxes:eek:  up there.

It varies...If it's an older box, like from RID and older, then I'll try and keep it somewhere. New boxes, I'll just cut it up and keep the back piece and put it into a folder. Same with card backing on deluxes.

I know there's no actual value in it, but I do it anyway. *shrug* I donno...They hold some significance to me in some way.

The only package ive ever kept is the MP-04 Convoy. Everything else is trash. Although, most times the packaging is quite nice.

    Trash compactor.

Unless it's something special like botcon or club figures.

I've started keeping all the packaging, I even go so far as to undo those annoying twist-ties by hand. Why do I do this? Well, those boxes make GREAT set filler for my photocomics. Plus, if I ever need to store my figures safely away, the original packaging should still work, right?
