I don't think ebay is concerned with what people sell until the buyer complains after trying to settle the matter first with the buyer. If the buyer is satisfied with the purchase, then there's no foul, so to speak. There's nothing you can do to prevent someone else from buying a fake at prices commanded by the genuine article. It just means you have to stay informed and be careful you don't get cheated yourself.
