    Bonjourno peeps!

I need some feedback on what people want so I can make my store the best store and would appreciate any feedback you can give on what type of stuff you look for in a collectible toystore

Any comments or suggestions will be more than welcome

Your poll is missing some of the most popular brands. Stuff I would buy include Transformers, Marvel legends, Wrestling figures, GI JOE, Star Wars, DC Universe, Neca Turtles, and Iron man.

Don't waste your time on Hulk, unless you wanna take the loss.

Stuff I've bought recently: Iron Man, Neca Turtles, Movie Masters Dark Knight figs, Eon Kid, obviously some TF's. Stuff like that.

Are they making porn action figures now? That would be entertaining. Sasha Grey with real screaming action!

Actually, I remember seeing porn action figures from an Entertainment Earth toy guide that I got one time! I just kept thinking "Would someone really display these in their home?" Don't get me wrong I have nothing against them, but I just don't really get it.

Of the options listed, I buy a Marvel Legends figure every once in a while if they release a mold that I figure I can use for a repaint. Otherwise, I've never bought any of those lines.

The most glaring omission to the options above is the DC Universe Classics series. Other than that (and TFs, of course), the only line I collect is Revoltech. However, what about Legendary Comic Book Heroes? Those things seem to shelf-warm at every store I've seen them, but it's another option.

Out of the list I would go with Iron Man after seeing how good the movie was. Not on the list I would say 1/100 Gundams.

I think this type research is helpful but overall, you have to figure what people want that they either can't find anywhere else or stuff that is hard to come by.

Things like TFs will be popular here of course. But stuff like Legends, Iron man, Lego, GIJoe and other lines are easily avaliable at TRU, Target and WalMart. What would your cost on these items be and how much would you have to sell them for to make a profit vs how much people can get them for in stores. I think a collectable toy shop needs to specialize in things like DC Direct, Marvel Select, international products, and specialty toylines from Art Asylum and Neca to have a chance. These are the things people can't go to Target and buy. They have to hit BBTS, Toynk, and Entertainment Earth to get them.

I'm sure you already know this but I figure I would throw it out there anyway because I've been doing some similar research.

Other than Transformers, I've been lured in by Iron Man and GI Joe stuff, but I haven't been tempted to buy much more than that.
