I tried to like him, I really did. I also bought evac, thinking that a repaint might change my mind somehow. I was wrong.

I'll just post my current top ten

    10. WfC Bumblebee
    9. Energon Hot Shot
    8. Animated Leader Megatron
    7. Armada Smokescreen
    6. TFTM 2007 Payload
    5. Animated Lockdown
    4. Animated Starscream
    3. Animated Blitzwing
    2. RoTF Blazemaster
    1. Armada Sideways

I always want to put Armada Sideswipe and Cybertron Backstop in there but I actually like their alt modes.

this has GOT to be just flame baiting. Even if you HATE G1 the classics line has some amazing TF molds, and very few that aren't better then say the entire Armada and Energon lines. (and i am picky about molds)

aside from the 'post of doom', i actually thought he was the only good 07 movie drone design, i really hated the other 2.

That is why I said most some molds like scourge and kup are great while others are well bad.

no order: Movie Swindle, Payload, voyager Ratchet, and probably a good percent of the entire Armada line. i can't think of anything from Armada that was good other than Unicron. Cybertron Vector Prime sucks too.

bad, but worst ever? And i'm curious which you think are bad (me, I've always thought Hot Rod and the F-15 seeker mold were flawed, And Galvatron and Iron Hide/Ratchet pretty bad but most of the rest are anywhere from Average (Drift/Blurr, Astrotrain, Jetfire) to Amazing (Voyager Prime, Sunstreaker/Sideswipe/Red Alert, Wheeljack, Bumblebee, Wreckgar, Warpath, Hound, Cyclonus, Kup, Jazz, Windcharger)

I've noticed Vector Prime getting slagged a lot too (one guy dedicated all 5 slots to him) I'm curious about the hate, I'd think him inoffensive at the worst... (personally i dig him)

Totally ignoring the amazing sculpt and good range of motion, plus an awesome (for the Japanese reales) sword weapon.

But why judge a toy by all it's merits when it's easier to just focus on one negative aspect and call it the worst ever when there's clearly even worse examples?

This post reeks of the same impaired judgement. First off, Armada figures were designed with Articulation last. This was an intentional move, along with the bright colours and more simplified transformations, to rope in a younger audience. They have nothing to do with Beast Wars, which was an entirely different breed of animal with entirely different goals and demographic. And seriously? THOSE are the examples you pick? Not Hot shot? Sideswipe? Fucking Overload?

Additionally, those toys also have consessions to make, Tidal Wave in particular. Tidal wave needed to combine, and Megatron had to have all those gimmicks. And Optimal Optimus, while I love him, I seriously hesitate to say he had four modes. Really two modes with variations when you think about it, and none of them had to look like anything in particular, unlike Tidal Wave and Megatron. Plus they had to be solid since again, younger target group.

And finally, those toys despite the ariculation, still have pluses. Articulation is not everything. They both look great and Tidal wave has a suitably massive pressence. Plus they're fun to transform and the gimmicks they have do work. Even their combined mode while gangly and huge has merits.

Armada Jetfire. His back keeps splitting in half for me, so basically he's a torso with two legs attached to his shoulders and arms growing on the "hips". And wings growing off of his ass.

i cant seem to think of a transformers toy i hate.......

    hell, i like even these:

    -titanium soundwave
    -classics galvatron
    -classics rodimus
    -classics ironhide
    -the SEEKER mold
    -generations darkmount (straxus)AND skullgrin
    -all wfc figures

the list goes on.i only can think of 2 armada figures i wont get but i have a reason,
laserbeak.....i have no need for it in toy form, i dont hate it.i just dont need it.

armada hotshot.the universe one is sooo much better!
i actually really liked energon hot shot as a kid, he destroyed everything with roundhouse kicks from those GIANT boots!! lol

Haven't got time to read 22 pages worth, but surely G1 Guzzle has been mentioned already? Transformation = pull his waist (slightly) and you're done. Truly horrible.
