I packed my bags, scrubbed my unit roster, checked my medical equipment, and did a few other things to get ready to fly out to Haiti tomorrow.
I'll probably wanna hang out and sort clothes after they come out of the dryers. though somehow, most of the day will be me helping load and unload 5 industrial washing machines and drying it all in the dryers.
Today, I completed my section of the work on a service upgrade on a modem used worldwide. I also taught an RF engineer how to edit in wiki.
Also, that video spelled "homicide" incorrectly. For some reason, I find that hilariously stereotypical.
You work for NBC? Can you get me Ice-T's autograph?
Be safe over there brother.
Well I certinally never got punched in the face by a crazy dude while at work.
So you've never worked at Denny's...
Had the day off today (off tomorrow as well). But on days I do work, usually start by getting my rain check pads and gray dot stickers, then going through the task list, aisle to aisle (or item to item in some cases) and scanning outs, rigs, doing research and whatnot. After that spend the rest of the day pushing stock, or in some cases pulling it, and backstocking what doesn't go out.
Yeah, in-stocks at Target isn't the most interesting job in the world but I enjoy it.
As a pharmacy tech I see my share of crazy people. Many times we had to call for AP (guards) to either escort a person out or be there to try and calm them down. I've been called racist, stupid and inconsiderate numerous times. Not as difficult as being an officer but if I get something wrong and the pharmacists doesn't catch it, well I can kill somebody.
Everyone serves a purpose!!!!
I just want to know what everyone does and the struggles, headaches, good times, and joy that are had.
