i got to spend time with someone I really really care about, and thats all I could ask for wtf is with people being so greedy on holidays like this?
Too true- and unfortunately learning what women really mean when they say something is harder to figure out then memorizing every piece of Kanji in the Japanese language. There really needs to be a "Dictionary for Men" that is exactly like a dictionary only with what women really mean as the definitions. Though my GF says she doesn't really care, I made sure to get her a few things and make her a nice dinner. Fortunately in return when we were at the store she bought me Star Trek TNG season 2, which I was looking for.
I got some Reece's Hearts, a card, and a new tie- beige with black Jolly Roger flags on it. I likes. I gave: A homemade card, 'Pride and Prejudice,' and dinner.
I got a headache, but it was bearable. Other than that, I got nothin', but that's cool. I hate V-day.
On Veteran's day I didn't really get anything...kinda disappointed...Oh....OH, you mean Valentine's Day....my bad.
Some candy from a few classes at school, and a nose bleed for no apparent reason. I told a group of classmates that I needed nose tampons and they got a good laugh
I got a Wii t-shirt and some Peanuts boxers. I gave her some chocolate. And we got Radiohead tickets together.
Victoria got me this! It's personalized with our names on the scoreboard and mounted on a pretty nice frame. She's going to get the frame engraved with our name and the date we met (May 27, 2001). Jacobs Field is very important to us, it's where we met and where we both work and just holds so many memories for us. She also bought me a great gourmet pizza (crab meat and shrimp!) from a great pizza bistro down the street and we made a red velvet cake and cuddled on the couch watching a movie. Too bad it was at her freaking parents house... her dad came home hung around. *sigh* We couldn't move into our apartment just a few freaking weeks earlier. OH! And her sister... well, Nina finally gave me a nefew! I have three nieces from my sister, already, I've been begging for a nefew forever! He was actually born a few days before... but whatever. Here's a picture! Pax Joseph Frey - 6lbs 10ozs, 20in long. He's so adorable! I haven't been able to see him in person though. His happy parents, my (soon-to-be) sister-in-law Antonina and her husband Eric. Hard to tell from the size of the picture, but Nina looks damn fine considering she just went through labor.
