I was just thinking about how I think that this is my favorite Laserbeak in the entire trilogy. That got me wondering what else was done better than any other continuity. This list is just an opinion.

    • Laserbeak - This might be my favorite character in the trilogy. He was just executed (LOL) perfectly, IMO. He had a great design, great motive, AWESOME voice acting, he transformed all over the place. I just can't say enough about how awesome Laserbeak is in the movie. The only thing that's missing is a good toy.
    • Sentinel Prime - He's another great character, with a great arc, great acting, and an awesome model. He has arguably the best toy in the DOTM line as well.
    • Wheelie - While he's an acquired taste, he's certainly preferable to G1 Wheelie.
    • Prime Trailer - This is probably going to cause some discussion, but I think the jetpack and weapons cache trump God Ginrai.
    • Bumblebee - Again, this opinion is probably going to ruffle feathers, but this Bumblebee is the best as far as character and toys.

    What do you think?

Making me turn insane. The first movie infected me with a really weird Transformers-based mindset. Everytime class dismisses, I have to yell "Autobots, ROLL OUT." And half the class responds with "We Roll." XD

    Gotta love seniors.

I agree with your list, fleshling. There isn't much I like better than the movie universe now. But I'll throw in TF aesthetics. I love the detailed, alien look of this series. Much more creative and fun to view IMO.

Same here; I love the looks of the robots, like Shockwave's ominous skeletal appearance and Mirage's steamlined crimson. It's some really cool visual effects! :D

Sure, the movies have their downsides, but it's a fun ride and I like them :D

You have the coolest classmates EVER. :D

Anywhoo, I agree. Sentinel Prime's design and character was flat out AMAZING. Truly well done. The robotic designs in my opinion is what made the movie series so awesome. Not to mention the action sequences :rock

    Changing Prime's character.

He went from; "You-you left me no choice, brother."

    To; "TIME TO FIND OUT!"

I think I actually like weak Megatron. It's just the DOTM film didn't carry it out well.
Laserbeak was very dark and creepy.
    Megatrons ROTF design.
I'm rather fond of this Optimus design.
Sentinel Prime was a great character and an actual threat.
I am probably the only person who appreciates the massive amount of G1 references.

I loved nearly everything about the movies except the portrayal of Shockwave(he's still awesome though).

I think the films handled that feeling of scale better than just about any other version of Transformers. Comic books and cartoons have shown humans and Transformers together but just something about shooting so much of the film at what would be eye level for us made the robots feel huge.

Perhaps when the Beast Wars bots found the Ark was about the last time I got the same feeling of wow these bots are really big.

The Autobot's arrival has to be one of, if not THE, best introductions ever.

I feel that the Movies have taken full advantage of being, well, movies. There is a certain, for lack of better word, epicness to them that can really only be fully appreciated in theaters; it loses a lot when going onto the small screen (especially on TV with ill-timed commercials every 10 minutes).

For me, it's mostly the special effects and robot designs.

The story and acting was sort of a hit and miss for me, but I'm not really a good judge of acting or story unless it's really good or really bad.

They brought the fan-base together as a whole, creating a new unity and peace never before seen in...

    ...

I can't even finish that line and hold an inkling of seriousness.

    Anyway...
I loved the aesthetics the most. It got away from the Duplo-designs of old and brought the characters to life.
