Besides the US and Canada, has Prime been licensed to air anywhere else yet?

I for one, can't wait for the inevitable Japanese airing, if only to see the crazy, ill-fitting theme song they'll no doubt use for the opening.

I don't think it's hit Japan yet. They would air it as a weekly and it'd need to be finished(which I think only happened recently) before they could re dub it.

    Ebay:
Japan will get Transformers Prime, its air date hasn't been made public yet, but Japan has introduced the public to them via the Happy Meal Transformers that were released in conjunction with the last movie. The three special voucher Transformers were of Transformers: Prime's Bumblebee, Bulkhead and Optimus Prime, and the DVD included a brief commercial of the show as well.

I suspect the show will air soon or soon after Transformers Animated wraps up (if it hasn't already wrapped up that is).

It will probably be Season 1 after it is finished, and toys start appearing in stores.

EBS going to air TFP (news article in Korean)

South Korea is going to air TFP in EBS from fall 2011.
EBS stands for Educational Broadcasting System. I doubt TFP is educational, though.
The article says Hasbro asked EBS for airing TFP.
(I supposed Cartoon Network Korea would be going to air it, but it was wrong.)

I'm somewhat Sad and Glad that there's no news of it being Aired in Australia. The Sad part is obvious but at least this gives me a legitimate reason to download the episodes online so i'm up to date with you dang Americans/Canadians.

Singapore will start airing them from August 22, Mondays to Thursdays.

EDIT: Silly me, that's today! Turned on the TV and was so psyched to see Prime.

Korean Offical Site for TFP (in Korean)

From 29th Aug, TFP is going to be aired at 7:35 PM every Monday and Tuesday. It is 12-rated, maybe due to its strong violence.

And it will be aired in HD.

I'll watch the eventual portuguese dub just out of curiosity. I love the english voice cast too much to stop watching theirs.

I think American voice actors are the best these days. Everytime I heard how fanboys prefered the Japanese voices for DBZ instead for FUNi's ones, I would bang my head in a wall.

But let's not get into that.

Are you saying the English voiceovers are better than the Japanese one for Dragon Ball? Wow:eek:
