I think you could make vast improvements without reshooting or adding any scenes.

With a few of the more egregious examples of the comedy cut out, and a few lines of off-camera dialog added to clarify/eliminate plot holes, I think a lot of people would be shocked at how much of an improvement would be made in the overall film.

And that's a realistic, possible thing to do, unlike saying "cut out Leo" or "cut out the twins".
