-I have this whole complicated thing about numbers, and whether they're "good" or "bad" (it's got nothing to do with luck or superstition; it's more just about whether I like them). Any number that's divisible by 10, 5 or 3 is more likely to be a "good" number than something divisible only by other numbers, and prime numbers aren't likely to be "good" numbers at all. Note that this usually applies only to smaller numbers (<100), but generally not to single-digit numbers. Some of the very best numbers are larger components of 100 (or multiples of it), such as 25, 75, 250, etc; as well as perfect squares (especially 9 and 25). I also like the number 2012 for some reason, as well as 1138, due to it's significance in Star Wars. Another thing that may mean a number is "good" is if it's symmetrical; for instance, 2002. -I always have to do something with my hands when I'm talking. Usually I fiddle with my clothes, my hair, or some object, like a pen, that's lying around. -I constantly pace around whenever I'm talking on the phone. -I sometimes do things in little rhythms, like flexing certain muscles or (less frequently) tapping my fingers. -I frequently peel dying skin off my lips. I've been trying to stop. -I also tend to pick at my nails (I don't bite them, that's gross), but I've been trying to stop that too, and I've started using clippers so they're more even. -When I'm having a meal with just my parents, I absolutely cannot sit down until we're right about to start eating; that is, until all the food's on the table and both of my parents are sitting down. It's never a problem when we have guests, or when I'm at someone else's house for a meal. I'm sure there are others, but that's all I can think of right now.
Bitting my nails is a big. I also have to have a piece of gum to chew or I will chew my mouth and tear it. When I am at home I have to have sock on it does not matter if its 100 outside I have to wear my socks.
Slouching, dear god do I slouch a lot O.O I've been dubbed the slouch master by teachers and friends alike
I like coffee late at night. I also have a slightly nervous habit where I use my right hand to brush up against my back pocket to make sure my wallet is there and then brush up against my front/side pocket to make sure my keys are there.
I cannot stand to have the number lock on my computer. It's autom, aticlly on when the computer starts up, but I have to turn it off!
Oh... another weird habit... when I'm tired or just waking up... I speak gibberish... Like random sounds, not words, will pop out of my mouth. Only when no one else is around because if someone religious person heard me doing that they'd probably call a priest to exercise the demon from me.
I have a deck of plasticized cards that I shuffle all the time. It's my alternative to stress balls; it helps me relax. I've had them for about 15 years now and I've shuffled them so often that all the ink has rubbed off and some cards are cracked, but the deck is remarkably solid otherwise.
