I am back soliciting yet more opinions from you more experienced collectors. So basically I wrote anything under a deluxe as being under-engineered crap until very recently due to my MP collecting bias. After discovering figures like CW Powerglide and Energon Divebomb, I realized how grossly incorrect I was and I want to rectify this error by acquainting myself with the best toys in this scale. While the post specifies a list of 10, less or more suggestions are still very welcome. So please bombard me with your favorites! additional details explaining why would also be greatly appreciated :)

nice list, Heavy tread in particular looks sweet. And I am surprised to admit I also really like the look of BW Snarl, I didn't think I would dig original beast wars stuff...

rotf dirt boss - unique alt mode, a humanoid movie decepticon is always good, and he's got a great transformation

dotm reverb - reminds me of armada sideways with a dope alt mode and plenty of cool fan mode options

rotf reverb - bw inferno homage!! only issue is his leg panels aren't secured in any way

hftd hubcap - simple transformation but great detailing and a cool alt mode

rotf brimstone - unique use of alt mode parts and both modes look dope

rotf divebomb - period alt modes are the coolest, with a unique looking bot mode

rotf ejector - a fucking toaster demon!! fuck that's cool

    tfp commander optimus prime

    tfp commander megatron

pcc undertow - i love aquatic alt modes

This is based off of what I own/used to own, and in no particular order of better-ness and whatnot:

Beast Wars Iguanus: Had him as a kid, most likely something from my cousins when they got "too old for toys", lost him in a move, and when I went back to look at other Beast Wars toys now that I'm older, he's made the list of things I should probably buy. Love me some frilled lizard. He was also literally the first one I thought of when I started making my list

G2 Cyberjet Hooligan: Similar case to Iguanus (second one I thought of). I love his tiger stripes and is a constant reminder for me that friction-fire missiles aren't always bad.

ROTF Bike mold (Knock Out, Reverb, etc.): The turning front wheel and the compactness in vehicle mode make it for me.

T30 Starscream: Beast Wars episode referential pack-in? Yes please. The conversion scheme is a bit simplistic, but it's worth going through to see a F-22 Raptor-esque jet and a fine (and admittedly a bit stocky) Seeker robot mode. Honorable mention for this spot goes to Acid Storm, Thundercracker, and Skywarp.

2007 Target Exclusive Hardtop: I really liked his machine gun/anti-materiel rifle-looking accessory, and his articulation ain't too shabby.

Cyberverse Dreadwing and Skyquake: I preferred their colors compared to their Voyager counterparts (the undersides of the wings being painted certainly helped). I love having a 3mm-handle rotary cannon, too.

Titans Return Brawn: Some proportion issues aside (which, admittedly, do add to the character's personality), he's just solid, at least for me. Articulation's good, vehicle mode looks nice, and doesn't necessarily need that shield/stand adaptor piece.

Combiner Wars Shockwave: Good robot mode, great gun mode, and oozes personality. Would I like a bigger Shockwave? Sure, but this guy scratches the itch just fine.

Human Alliance Sandstorm: Another I used to own. I love the roll cage, and the accessory was simple, having both a peg and c-clip. I don't recall ever trying that weapon mode, though.

Titans Return Kickback: Excellent grasshopper mode, head could look up thanks to transformation, and the diaclone-referential seating gimmick (even if it doesn't enclose around the passenger) was fun to mess with. It did help that mine didn't have any issues out of the bubble.

Honorable Mentions: Cybertron Armorhide (looks cool, never owned it), Titans Return Fastclash (vehicle mode is admittedly a bit too simple, as per G1, and is limited to a box set), Titans Return Ravage (I personally like the mold, but I know it's not everyone's cup of tea), and my "custom" Titans Return Flywheels (being two $4.99 Titan Master Skytread vehicles stuck together as a facsimile of his G1 toy).

If you like Powerglide, I would highly recommend most of the Legends figures from Thrilling 30 to current day. My favorite are probably Seaspray, Brawn, Cosmos, Gears, the insecticons, Blackjack, Huffer, and Gnaw.

My top 10, starting from the best of the best...

TR Wheelie - in Takara colors he is a perfect 10, if not he's still a 9
CW Scounge - just awesome by existing
CW Powerglide - only lost #2 spot due to our illogical perceived value of obscurity
TR Kickback - strength in numbers
    CW Bombshell - 1+1+1>3
T30 Shrapnel - a set is so attractive that weaker members can hide well inside
TR Gnaw - he's cute and in a very helpful size class for troop building
TR Bumblebee - Spike can sit in him, his rightful place of belonging
T30 Cliffjumper - so Bee & Cliff can be different molds, plus free target master
CW Blackjack - just a little fun toy with a transformation twist
