Just got this guy in the mail today and hoo boy is he a ton of fun.(The encore version.)
I always wanted one as a kid, but my family could never really justify dropping that much money on a single figure, regardless of size(I forgot how much he was when I was young.)
So what do you guys think of him? I've seen a few people's collections that have multiples, so he must be pretty popular.
also, is there anything to do with the extra track parts aside from setting them in the box or making a full circle on his back? Do they go anywhere in his bot mode?
    discuss.

I just got Encore Omega Supreme last week and he has become one of my favorite transformers. As far as the tracks go can use the excess pieces to form to half circles for his back leaving no part unused that's how I display mine.

Very neat toy; one of the few parts of my childhood collection that I actually remember. I picked up the reissue a few months ago and it brought back a lot of good memories. Surprising how much space the base mode takes up, given how compact the robot form is.

As for the track pieces, I generally leave them attached to the robot back, with one half of the circle on each side, as "wings".

    Just tried this. looks awesome!
    thanks guys!
God this dude has a ton of stickers...it sucks cause I'm so anal about sticker applications thanks to gundam models. I trim all the excess sticker off to make the application as clean as possible.
it sure is time consuming, but he's looking so neat so far. I'll take pics tomorrow when I'm over at my mom's house. she's got a great camera.

Actually if you look at the original, Mechabot-1 the comapny toybox posed the tracks in every conceivable configuration and called them by different names. Plus mechabot-1>omega supreme

If I ever get the money and the deal, I'd love to get the Omega Sentinel/Guardian Robot E-hobby version.

I was quite impressed when I got my OS about a decade or so ago, he certainly is a well done figure. The only drawback IMHO is that he's such a partsformer, but what he is overcomes that stigma rather easily.

good luck with that lol. the only ones I've seen are 220 bux plus.
The parts former thing is kinda weird...but I guess it's kinda hard to avoid when you turn into a tank that circles a rocket base :p
Even considering that he's incredibly well thought out for an 80's toy. every part of him can be used in either robot mod or base mode. there's no spare bits lying around. Really awesome altogether.

Mechabot-1 looks like he might be a ruthless killing machine.

Anyways, yeah, Omega Supreme is way rad. I got the Encore version and when I came home from work to that big ol' box, it was one of the best moments of my life XD

I don't mind him being a partsformer really, since he's so big and has so much play value and whatnot.

Great figure. I never had one as a kid but always wanted one. Thanks to Encore, I'm living out that dream, along with the sexy Ehobby Guardian robot version as well. The thing I love most about this toy is that it walks!!!!

that is a bootleg. a nice bootleg though. I wish ehobby made mechabot-1 as their exclusive. As they seem to make pre-tf exclusives in the past like all the diaclone colored stuff and black perceptor from Micro-Change.

I've always liked Omega Supreme, his bot mode looks every bit as powerful as his name suggests.

I got the Encore version, and I must say, he is quite awesome.

I am not a fan of him being a partsformer...but he is too awesome not to like. For the era he was designed, he truly is quite magnificent even today, isn't he?

I have a few of these Omegatron versions stashed away. They have been commanding higher prices on eBay recently but there was a time you could pick the MIB ones up for £10.

No need to wait for ehobby :)
