Interesting stuff on here so far. As for me there are two main groups, collecting and doing.
I like to collect transformers (of course), and marvel figures as well as some mcfarlane stuff. I collect lots of melee weapons, martial arts and medeival, some comic books, and coins.
As for doing things, one of my favorite hobby's is the great US Navy. I was active for four years, but now I'm in the reserves. I'm in a special forces unit based out of Jax, and I absolutely love what I do. I've traveled the world, and seen all kinds of stuff. I've been a search and rescue swimmer, combat life saver, i'm currently the Anti-Terrorist Force Protection Training Supervisor, Non-Lethat Weapons Instructor, Hand-to-Hand Combat specialist, and Expert with pistol and Rifle. I've had more than my time in the sand, and i'm currently looking for a billet to go back. I also play a little bass guitar (horribly), harmonica (horribly), and draw pencil sketches of superheroes.
Lastly, I do a lot of work with my church. I love the Lord and although I guess doing things with the church isn't a "hobby" per se, it's a lot of my life. I lead sunday school, and help with the youth, and I just got back from a humanitarian/mission trip to Zambia, Africa, where I supervised the building and erection of a water tower so the locals could have a steady water supply.
Shoot, sorry so long winded, but I keep pretty busy.

 

I love to draw comics

I write songs. when winter vacation comes, my cousin and i are starting a band

I also like acting and voice impersonations

 

Okay, my other hobbies are drawing superheroes (already posted my work here), monsters, to whatever. I read books, comics, and magazines from Toyfare to Wizard or other just to keep my mind occupied or spark my interest. I play fighting games like Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee and Save the Earth and the Hulk games on my old Xbox, new one well another Hulk game and the Transformer the Movie game, so you get the picture. I do collect Godzilla along with Transformers and superheroes. I also collect miscellaneous you know toys that aren't popular or mainstream, so thats always cool. I also enjoy watching movies from giant monsters to slashers flicks (this includes my fav, Friday the 13th). Not a fan of Zombies...sorry. Anyways I also enjoy listening to music from blues to metal, but not country, and my motto is, "If it got a good beat I'll listen to it, if not its trash." Oh one more thing I also a pro wrestling fan, but I do watch cartoons and others things that well spark my interest, so that I don't get too bored. Well there you go, my other hobbies. When I'm not kitbashing/customizing, I'm usually doing the following:

spending time with my fiancee, Stephanie

drawing - pencil & ink, charcoal

painting - still life, watercolor

sculpting - did it years ago in high school--just now trying it again

videogames - PS3, Xbox 360, Dreamcast, PSP, PS2, Xbox, Neo Geo AES/MVS/CD, Saturn, Genesis, SNES, NES

basketball - favorite sport

skateboarding - not so much anymore--just ride it for old time's sake (knees are too jacked to do it anymore really).

music - listen to nearly anything (favorites are punk, hardcore, metal, ska, alternative, classic rock, and some country). Grew up listening to punk and metal while my parents listened to country and oldies (so I basically listen to anything). I also tool around a bit with pianos, keyboards, guitars, drums, and FL Studio on the laptop (my bud is in a couple of bands and we used to create some cool stuff in FL Studio). It's just a side hobby though, I'm not a musician by any means.

sports - NBA, NFL, MLB--I watch them when I have time, especially if the Dallas Cowboys are playing (been a fan since I was a kid).

comic books - I read 'em quite a bit when time permits (Transformers, of course--along with The Darkness, Witchblade, and some Superman stuff--though lately I've only kept up with Transformers).

TV/Movies - I'm a TV junkie and I probably watch shit that some consider lame or stupid, but hey, who the hell am I trying to impress with what I watch? I'm a huge fan of Buffy, Angel, Smallville, Supernatural, Firefly, Terminator: SCC, Heroes, Chuck, NCIS, Burn Notice, and yes, even One Tree Hill. As for movies, you can't go wrong with Transformers, The 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Harold & Kumar 1 & 2, the American Pie series, the Nightmare on Elm Street series, and the list goes on. I'm a fan of Comedy, Horror, and Action (and I'll sit through sappy love stories on occasion with my girl).

That's about it--I never have time to do it all, but it's enough to keep me busy (and all of this is when I'm NOT working, helping family, travelling from FL to GA, or spending time with my niece and nephew).

 

My hobbies outside collecting and customizing TF's? Well, let's see: I have been a model railroader longer than I have been collecting TF's, and my first layout is currently getting built. I also collect LEGO Exo-Force figures, BIONICLE, plus I'm starting to collect Shinkis as well.

 

Great thread idea. Besides TF dismemberment and torture, I am a big gamer. I play a lot of 360 when I can, mainly Soul Calibur, GOW, and I finally got a copy of Marvel Vs Capcom 2.  

I also do a lot of graphic work. I try to keep my drawing skills somewhat fresh, but not as often as I need to:



I'm a bit of a techie, I like tinkering with stuff, like external hard drives from internal ones, adding RAM, simple stuff. My all time favorite thing to do? Being dad!
