As the title says, what are some of your favorite color combinations/schemes for toys? My personal favorite would have to be black and purple, which is why Skywarp is probably my favorite of the seekers. It's also the very same reason I have the FP Insecticons, 2.0 Stormcloud, Henkei Dark Skyfire, and why I regret selling my TRU Reissue Insecticons.

Currently, I'm contemplating pulling the trigger on an eHobby MP Black Rodimus.

 

Black & purple is good. I really like the Evac colorway, orange white blues, mostly because it's underdone except for his molds really. Any predominantly red/maroon figs with highlights also because it's pretty underused in recent years too, sans the Cliffjumper figs.

 

I love black color schemes like Nemesis Prime, Black Wing Sabre, and Black Rodimus.

And, I think I should just tell you, E-Hobby Rodimus is TOTALLY worth it.

 

Especially now that he's on sale on BBTS, right?

 

As long as there's some bling and the colors coordinate well; I don't have a specific favourite set of colours, but I do like Metallic paint schemes.

 

Exactly. I bought him at full price during Christmas and I still feel he was worth it.

 

I don't think I have any one set of favorite color combos, but there are a few I tend to like. I'm pretty partial to red, blue, and white/grey, which could be why G1 Jazz and Starscream are some of my favorite designs. I tend to like red and white with pretty much any other color, though (I really like Wheeljack, Drift and Jetfire as well). I also like black with more or less anything (especially red or purple) and red and blue.

Don't know what it is about black and red that makes me wanna buy figures in that combination.

 

Desert colors. Also, white figures. White and red, ooo, that's pretty. Wheeljack and Drift are some favorites of mine.

 

I couldn't say, my favorite color combinations are largely dependent on the character and what they look like.

 

For you, I'm going to say black.

 

Black, blue, silver, and green tends to catch my focus 95% of the time.
