I ask this because I may have a defective game: Tales of Legendia. I'm supposed to go to this village to advance the story, but the problem is I can't enter it. I tried everything, but I can't enter it. I can't continue the game if I can't enter this village. I fear that this is a game glitch and may need to get another copy. So what do you do if you have a defective video game?

Methinks you haven't done some prerequisite for entering. I just take it back and exchange it if it's messed up.

Go online and find out what has to happen to let you in. You may find that there is something you have to do that you haven't.

Uh... hate to break it to you, but thats what we call a "bug", which is software related, and no matter how many times you take it back to the store its going to be there.

Check Gamefaqs out and see what you did wrong.

Blame Twin Twist. It's his fault.

I just spoke to a Namco representative in a live chat

He says he has played the game many times and he has NEVER encountered this problem. He recommends to take it back to the store you bought it from and exchange it for a fresh copy. He's also going to pass this problem over to the big boys at Namco to see if they could do something about it
