Finally broke down and bought Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest, along with the other two story paths that should have been included from the start through various and separate sales.

Pretty weird to play this after Awakening. The stance system takes a lot of time to adjust to but I guess it stops pairing up from being the default strategy. The roster and maps are super scripted and linear for the first 6 chapters but it opens up nicely after that. The story needs more breathing room. No grinding is nice but I also surprisingly miss it. The class switching, skill hoarding, min-maxing from Awakening was kind of fun in a horribly masochistic way. Xander is a really nice brother. Ganon is a bad dad.

Now if I have to decide if I want the ability to teleport or turn my character into a literal tank. Hmm...
wait girls cant be tanks shit

no voice clips during supports makes me very sad

Playing NBA Playgrounds on the Switch. I like it, good ol' NBA Jam days, but if given the option, I would like my $20 back...

Been playing through Kingdom Hearts on PS4. I don't know if it's because I played about 120 hours of Persona 5 over two playthroughs, but I feel like this game is going by extremely fast. I'm close to the last area of the game, and 11 hours have passed, but it feels like I've only played the game for an hour.

Really fun game, though. It's been a while since I've played this back in the PS2 days, and the controls have definitely improved. I remember the PS2 version had to use the L2 and R2 buttons to control the camera. Luckily, the PS4 version put the camera control to the right thumbstick, and now sequences that were frustrating to play are super smooth.

    Fallout 4 - PlayStation 4.jpg

Started a new modded "zombie apocalypse" game in FO4. The main mod changes ghoul behavior to act like zombies and changes damage percentages for head and body shots (and I'm pretty sure it also puts more ghouls in the game). With the four enemy replacer plugins it's been crazy zombie fun. Having to fight a couple of zombie packs to get to the Vault exit was intense! Sanctuary also had a few packs waiting for me. This is going to be a fun ride.

Been playing Injustice 2 for a while now. I can't tell how I truly feel about this game at the moment, while I do love the single match fights and even the character customization... The story mode even set on easy still feels like it was set to hard mode and the multiverse is beyond difficult for me too.

Weird indie game called GRIDD: Retroenhanced.

It's an on-rails SHMUP with neon 80s style aesthetic design. Half obstacle course half shooter. Super simple, yet inexplicably intoxicating lol.

    Azure Strike Gunvolt (Steam)

My keyboard sucks and it disconnects when I do... pretty much anything in-game.
    It's infuriating.

That aside, this game is pretty amazing, only learned recently that there is a PC version, and bought it inmediately, no regrets.
It's developed by Inti Creates, and as it inmediately becomes obvious it's more or less their replacement for the Megaman Zero/ZX saga.
However, while level design and the general aesthetic is very similar, the gameplay changes a lot.
Your firearm is not the main damage dealer, but rather a tool to tag enemies with, and then you thunderbolt them to death.
Gunvolt's electrical powers are the main way he deals with both enemies and the terrain, meaning it's both familiar and yet a new and original experience.
    Simply great so far.

I started playing the PS4 remaster of GTA Vice City today. Man, I really have to get myself back into the grove of the game mechanics as it has been at least 4 years since I played this one. Tommy is moving and driving as if he were having a seizure. I also kind of forgot you can't go in water until I... well in a puddle. UGH! Despite the frustrations, it is fun revisiting this game again.

Man, I am getting my ass kciked in Vice City and I have no idea why. For one thing, I can not get through all 12 levels of the Ambulance mission at all. I played that mission for more than 2 hours and the highest I reached was Level 9 when one of the damn people I needed to pick up decided to run into the ambulance as it was moving, so I lost. After that 45 minutes was wasted I decided to just quit and will try it again another time.

I've collected almost all of the packages though, so I now have access to a tank that I used to get through the Vigilante missions. As for the story missions, I just got the mansion, so I'm about halfway through that. Despite the frustrations, it's been a blast to revisit this game after five year.
