Moving into a new house, having TWO puppies, hopefully getting my inheritances and going back to school. Also to finally finishing my two Novels so I can get them podcasted as Audio Presentations ala "Morevi" and "Chasing the Bard" and submitted to publishing houses.
I just looking forward to it being a better year than last... 2008 was bad for me. A lot of shit happened...
EXOSQUAD SEASON 1 DVD SET!!!!!!! After so many years....finally! As well as a Ronon Dex Figure from the Stargate Atlantis Series.... And I'm hoping our next president will keep his campaign promises! And of course my 25th Birthday......
Tons of great movies coming, my first year in my own place, moving in with my girlfriend and possibly proposing to her... Sssshhhhh! Also some of my favorite bands will be putting out new albums. Starting a new band with some very talented people. 09 is going to rule.
What I'm looking forward to... -Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen -Losing weight -getting a job -getting my driver's license -going to college to get a good education -my 20th birthday (2 decades old, folks. I think this may actually be something I'm NOT looking forward to) -25th Anniversary of Transformers -*insert witty remark here saying what ridiculous thing I'll do if the economy recovers* -my first car (it better be a Honda Civic, that or something that's fuel-efficient) -my first food run with my car (What? I get hungry ) -my first toy run with my car (this fan will FINALLY BE MOBILE!) -hopefully my first Botcon (if my parents will let me. If not, I'll go anyway and have a road trip adventure ) -my first bumper sticker on my car -my first lunch in my car -The fact that I can finally say that all movies that take place in 2010 are now historically inaccurate What I'm NOT looking forward to... -My 20th birthday -all analog TV broadcasts turn off on February 17th, 2009. Not a good idea if in the event something bad happens -The fact that Dick Clark's still alive, IMO -going to college (dammit, I just know I'm gonna get my ass kicked) -The fact that since it'll be 2009, we STILL haven't gotten hoverboards, hovercars, talking robots, food that comes in pill form, and matching silver jumpsuits
I'm looking forward to seeing TF:ROTF and getting MP Grimlock! Other than that, I'm looking forward to things calming down at work. They've been pretty hectic lately.
-Possibly having a better idea on a career. As in, deciding whether to stay in the field I'm in, or find something else. -Continue to lose more weight. -Finally be honest about things that's taken me 10 years to say. -Trying to overall have a better year. 2008 wasn't all that great.
It might not make sense to some but... what I'm looking forward to isn't really known. That is, I have a sense of what might happen, but if it does, I'm definitely looking forward to that. And, of course, Revenge of the Fallen. TF2 baby!
