YES! I love Little Brother, The song "Time of Your Life" feat. Carlitta Durand was sick! well just about everything I heard was sick, pretty much.


As for me, I've been listening to this Canadian musician for a while now who goes by the stage name K-os (Knowledge of self), and he's easily become my favorite artist. His style and albums are very eclectic ranging from Hip Hop, rock, reggae, soul, disco and just about whatever mood he seems to be in but it all works well.

For those of you on here from Canada, if you aint listenin to this guy or just don't like his style, you should at least be proud of this man...he's reppin ya'll quite well with his music IMO.

This is my current fav. song from him, although with 3 albums deep of great material, it's difficult for me to really pick out just one.

Q-Tip : Renaissance - Excellent album from beginning to end! A definite contender for hip-hop album of the year.

Kanye West : 808's & Heartreak - Huge disappointment. I'm all for creativity in hop-hop but Kanye fell off his wagon here. The fact that he used auto-tune and sang throughout the album don't bother me. It's just a bad album with the exception of "Amazin'", "Heartless", and "Bad News".

 

Q-Tip album is already out? Damn I'm slippin. I'm gonna go cop that tomorrow then.

I'm still waiting for the new Mos Def and Common albums to drop as well.

skillets a fantastic band. im amazed at how talented and diverse they all are. each album is a bit different than the next. tho for the harder rockin stuff i really recommend "Collide" and the new "Comatose comes Alive" CDs.
