Currently? Watching two robots operate my machine cells. Well, watching one run and watching an electrician try to figure out why the second one threw a tantrum. And the socialists say that automation will eliminate all jobs. Feh...
De-cluttering my desk at work in anticipation for a move. As a game developer, I naturally accumulate lots of crud such as TF's (no surprise) and merchandise from my current employer. I have a final call tomorrow for a job with the lead technical guys. The team have already said yes to hiring me, this is just a final "you know what this job is, right?" type of call (there was some surprise that I applied for a more low-level job after doing so much technical management stuff in my career). So after tomorrow, we'll enter the negotiation stage and see what comes of it. If all goes well, I'll be handing in my notice at the end of the month.

Discussing whether an author writing about ideals in his characters in fiction is a reflection of his own beliefs or if he is merely setting up the mindset of his characters and their world. With Authors, I don't think you can ever really tell unless they outright tell you they believe as their characters believe.
