Man, as of right now I cannot recommend Macrium Reflect highly enough. Instead of spending days downloading all my games and their DLC to a new HDD, I just installed the drive, cloned the data over with Macrium and changed the drive letters to reflect the arrangement. Waiting for the goddamn doctor's office to call me back. Until then, I need to vent: Some of you who know me may remember that I had gone through a few surgeries on my feet several years ago. A little more than a week ago the bolt on the top of my left foot from reconstructive surgery started hurting recently and I had went to my primary doctor so I can get a referral to a foot doctor. I went to the foot doctor on Wednesday (at the same place where I had my surgeries), and I find out that they don't take my health insurance anymore, which is bullshit. So I call the doctor's office so I can get a referral to a foot doctor that DOES take my health insurance, and I haven't heard from them since. The pain in the foot can be managed with Advil, but I'd like to see a doctor and find out whether or not the bolt can be removed. Either way, it makes working at my job rather difficult. Fuck, America's medical system is screwed up.
Downsizing my collection and removing old toys I no longer care for to make room for some crazy new fun 3P and Fanstoys things!
Enjoying the muffled bliss that comes with my hearing aids out. Wore them for twelve hours today and I am so done with that.
Just watched some dumb video on a toy review channel that I won't be subbing to where a guy burns a Kronos figure. Another example of pointless waste for the sake of a few clicks/views. That toy could have been given to a collector that wanted it, offered up to a kid that would have delighted to play with it or transformed into a cool custom by some talented forum member. In Puerto Rico, people are fighting for the lives- some with nothing. In Houston, people lost the homes in floodwaters, and meanwhile in small town (wherever this guy is) America, some guys is burning a $200 toy in his backyard- because he replaced it with another $200 toy. I really hate needless, pointless waste.
Finished painting parts and drilling holes in the conning towers for my Venator Star Destroyer model. Next up more holes to drill, and fiber optics to run.
Being cranky because I hadn't opened my clients for WoW or SWTOR for long enough to have some big patches so I can't play either of them And having to edit the registry on my laptop because a couple of values went missing (somehow) that has been preventing me from running Windows Update. That's working so I'm happy with that.
