I don't have the game yet but I am watching a Decepticon campaign playthrough by a funny commentator and he is wondering what those little specks of what look like energon that come out of enemies do. Do they serve a distinct purpose at all? It's not like there's a little counter saying how many you've collected or anything.

Also, does anyone find that they're constantly running out of ammo and there isn't enough around to replenish it at times? There are some pretty big ammo dry spells it seems....

Thats what it is? Oh, I never noticed. I thought they were some way of counting points that was leftover from the competitive campaign.

Oh that's pretty helpful. The guy I'm watching the playthrough of isn't very resourceful though. He instead spams rockets and vehicle fire and ignore the abilites.
