Just got Reveal the Shield Tracks, and while I was Transforming him I noticed he has this panel on his back that flips around to reveal two seemingly useless tabs.

Anyone know what these are for? They look like they're supposed to be for car mode or something, but I'm not sure.

Sorry if this has already been brought up. :/

Probably attachment point for Wheeljack's spoiler, so they don't have to remold the entire back end. Just rotate that piece during assembly, and stick it on.

His missiles should peg there in flight mode.

That makes sense... Wouldn't be the first time Hasbro/Takara designed seemingly useless features on a figure for other character uses of the mold down the line.

    Thanks for the input. :D

They point the wrong way for that. The missiles are perpendicular to whatever they're clipped onto. They'd point out to the sides or inward if you clipped them there. And besides, they're much too thin for the clips to actually attach... :/

I'm pretty sure other people have already confirmed that it's for the flight mode. The missiles attach there.

Hmm... actually, yeah. Fiddled around with my Tracks a little, and found matching slots on the bottoms of the missiles...

    My bad. :/
