I have looked at the Beast Machines toys, but I have never seen show-accurate versions of Thrust and Tankor like these before:
    Remy's

Could someone explain these to me?

Wow. I never got Thrust or Tankor because I never liked how they didn't look like they did on the show, but I'm going to have to pick these up.

The Tank Drone and Cycle Drone were a part of Beast Machines' last run, under the Battle For the Spark banner. Tank Drone was one of the first out in that run, so he is not as difficult to find as a couple of the others. Cycle Drone on the other hand is either the last or second to last of the toys produced in Beast Machines (the other being Battle Unicorn, who BBTS brought an exclusive run of? They always seem to have plenty!)
You can get the Cycle Drone for a decent price if you look for a loose one. That's how I got mine. Great toy.

I remember those things used to clog the shelves at the local Kmart.

Cycle Drone is the best thing that came out of Beast Machines if you ask me. I'd love to build an army of them, but they're too expensive now and were too hard to find then. I have the only one I've ever seen in person...

Battle for the Spark was one of the best TF waves -ever-...I have yet to be unexpectedly "holy crap this is cool"-slapped quite as hard as the final BM toys.

As a huge Vehicon fan I couldn't resist myself from getting those sweet molds.

I suggest you to get the Beast Wars Returns repaints of Obsidian and Tank Drone, they are very cool and show-accurate.

It does seem as tf lines always get better near the end of their respective lines(bw,bm,armada, energon) well except g1 in america. I loved the tank drone something fierce.

As much as I would love to have all the Japanese versions because of thier toon accurate colors, I just can't justify those prices. $40 for a basic? Hello, but no.
