Looking at the number of cool releases (excluding TFs) so far and its only March...what are the must have toys or toylines that collectors should look out for. For me these are the following in no particular order:

    1. Gundam Fix Metal Composite 1/100 scale (released)
    2. Megatron Master Piece (March 2007)
    3. Ideon Bandai SOC (March 2007?)
    4. Legendary Comic Book Heros (August 2007?)
    5. TF Movie Toys (April 2007?)

Whatelse did I miss out? I'm hoping this list could be around to help others to keep track of all the cool stuff that is coming out and that other posters could add on it.

I'd add GI Joe 25th, but I'm not sure of the release data

That's some pretty good stuff that you guys have listed and I'm personally compiling a list to ensure that I don't miss out on the stuff that I want! I forget to add this:

    1. Hi Nu Gundam (Master Grade Kit) - out in some countries

Check out the link below...it looks so beautiful with only panel lines...

    2. Zaku II version 2.0 (Master Grade Kit) - out in April 2007

    3. Rabidly Dog Takara 1/18 (released date?)

Yeah, I'm trying to get my hands on this but everywhere I go it's like $150. I'm trying to find it for around $100-110. I really want this guy.

Yeah, surprisingly he's even sold out in my country (Singapore)...I was thinking of picking a second piece up! He was retailing for around USD$80 in my country...

He certainty does live up to my expectations and expecially more so if you're an "old school" fan...check out the links below:

I even posted pictures of mine under "diecast Gundams". My $$$ will be going into many of Bandai's products this year as I'm skipping the TF movie products.

The CMS Patlabor looks like something that might be worth dropping some coin for.

Crap! I totally forgot about that! It was released in my country last week but how big is it? And what about the diecast content?

Yup, that's the one I'm talking about. The diecast content is in the Gundam's interior unlike the Seed Gundams. It has its pros and cons...

The pros - Diecast would be scratched and allows for better posing and flexability.

The cons - doesn't feel like a traditional Chogokin toy. Check out the link below to see where the die-cast is hidden! :D

llamatron - yikes! I can't believe I forgot about Kratos! I will also be picking up the 2 figures also! Kratos with Medusa's head looks so wickedly cool!

    ZOMG!!!

That is GORGEOUS! And it has a flight stand with clear stands for the Funnels. That was my biggest problem with the Master Grade Nu Gundam model (the fact that there was no stand). I'ma gonna have to save up for that if I can go to Otakon this year.

And also on the Gundam front, if you're into SEED, the MG Strike Noir and the 1/100 Akatsuki are due out at the end of the month, and both look gorgeous.

Yeah, that's probably the BEST Master Grade kit released by Bandai this year! I'm literally waiting impatiently for it to arrive.

After looking at TimothyVernon's post, I feel inspired to post pictures of the toys we're discussing about...mods, if I did anything that is not deemed legal, I apologise in advance and you may remove the pictures!

I hope this thread will be used to help fellow collectors in knowing what cool toys will be released over this coming year! :D

Pictures of Bandai's SOC Ideon; which is considered to be the most powerful mecha in the history of anime! Also included are scans of Takara's 1/18 Rabidly Dog (blue mech on top right corner of 2nd pix)!
