Why did u hate ROTF release your thoughts
I Only Have 5 Reasons:
1.Too Much Slow MO
2.Awful Screenplay
3.Bad Story
4.Not Enough Robot Screen Time and Speach
5.The Humans got in the Way

 

You covered the main ones, in an extremely generic fashion.

For me, it's because it was a disorganized mess that focused on running from one plot device to another while the entire rest of the cast was used as background pieces to get Sam where he needed to go to show how great he was.

 

I wouldn't say hate but Revenge of the Fallen is one of those films I don't have any desire to ever see again.

Part of the reason it didn't work for me is that the film tried too hard at some aspects of action films and it took the fun out of those elements. Comedy is something that can't be forced and yet the film tried to force the humor. It also felt like they tried to make the military too powerful which only worked to make the Decepticons feel too weak to be interesting film villains. The plot was also too big because if the bad guys won then the film franchise would be over.

 

ROTF was bad because it was poorly written. They had a story, but the amount of plot holes and "Wait...what" moments were too distracting. This is a movie that should have been pushed back and edited quite a bit more.

 

The villains were horrible.

 

The emphasis on everything combining and crap felt like Energon all over again; the Ice Cream Twins, then Devestator, and finally JetOptimus. We know the Arcee bikes were supposed to combine at some point too.

 

I don't hate RotF. Even with all it's shortcomings in gave us the forest battle, IMO the best fight scene in the whole trilogy.

 

The plot. That is all. It was messed up in many ways.

 

It's the only fight scene that mattered.

 

Really just the visual geographic errors.

OP, instead of focusing on the negative (which seems to be a trend with your posts) try to focus on the positive. Not to say you haven't given good reasons for your opinion, you have, but try to make a thread for why something was GLORIOUS!

 

Honestly rewatchign it recently. Remidns me that Jetfire and Wheelie made the movie but Sam and his annoying friends (specially Leo) kill it for me.

 

I agree with all five of your points. ROTF could've been a much better movie.

WOW OP, you seem to hate a lot of things TF. Well, It was'nt an absolute horrible movie IMO, I don't hate it. keep in mind it was made during a writer's strike.

 

Everybody always complains about things like the college humor, the twins, Devastator's "strotum" and the Fallen being a disappointment. They really should have had more bots accompany Sam rather than twiddling their thumbs at NEST HQ. I did find the mythos regarding the Primes fascinating.
