Considering that Hasbro is going to have their own TV channel soon, what do you think are the odds of them bringing back TFA for that channel. Hopefully it will get the treatment that it deserves over there

They've got a new long term plan for a cartoon, so unless it's an absolute failure, they will stay with it for a while. Meaning nothing new for Animated.

Sadly none, CN was a partern so that kills that hope. Though cant rule out another series in the same universe though. I dont think CN could stop them from doing an Animated BW for example.

I agree with the others, I dont really mind the idea of a fresh start though. I wasn't aware that they were going to have their own channel though

TFA's chances of returning is as good as Ultra Magnus dealing with it now.

I wouldn't be surprised if IDW eventually does more Animated books, but that's about all you can expect.

That is a pretty strong assertion lol! I mean.... the show ended? Megatron and the Decepticons are all captured. What happened to Blurr, Magnus... etc? who knows.... maybe a comic book later on can explain that mystery to us. I guess they could do a Beast Wars/Beast Machines type transition?

However... yeah its dead. Their will be no family guy type resurrection for this show. Damn ROTF! crap Bay movies killed the best TF show in years.

    I miss Blitzwing......

I won't say the chances are zero, but we are still talking fractions of one percent here.

Transformers Animated is done. Maybe there will be comics, but it's not certain.

We'd all love it, but chances are very much nearly nil. Hope Hasbro takes better care of their properties next time, so that this problem won't surface. The series isn't even allowed to depart gracefully with full DVD sets of all seasons.

I'm going to say the chances are none because I'm sure there is plenty of legal bullshit involved somewhere. Just far easier for Hasbro to start fresh on their own network.

On the bright side though the chances of Animated having an influence on the new show are pretty high since Hasbro wants that level of writing again. So maybe we can't have Animated again but if we can get a series with lots of great characters and toys that look like their cartoon counterparts then that would not be a bad deal.

I have to agree with the chances of being none as it would take so much money to buy the rights off of CN it would be financially unfeasible to run with.

Zero odds. Cartoon Network doesn't want it to continue and as much as I hate Cartoon Network these days (they've been responsible for the shortsighted cancellations of JLU, Teen Titans and TFA. TFA isn't nearly as good of a show as the previous ones I mentioned but it deserved a run long enough to finish it's story).

    No chance.

IMO, both are true. Animated was awesome, but what with the first movie's popularity, one of the two universes had to go. Hasbro, being the unpredictable people that they are, went with the latter just so that the continued success of the movie franchise would net them more money, when in reality, they should have held off on the whole movie sequel idea and the idea for their own channel, so that instead they could have fleshed out Animated a little more. That way Animated would still be on the air, and well into a fourth season.

But that's just my theory. And as for the OP, I highly doubt Hasbro will ever return to Animated unless they do this, IMO: Get rid of Michael Bay, and just stop with the live-action movies altogether.

    A fan can dream, though.
