Perhaps a stupid question since the market's interest generally dictates a toy's sale price. But what do you think are the most underpriced toys considering rarity and/or just awesomeness?

A lot of the non-show Beast Wars stuff is definitely dirt cheap, even MISB, and especially the basics. You'll have the occasional eBay monger trying to pass off a sealed Scarem or Sonar for $25 if not more, but they'll learn after years of relisting the same stupid toy.

Other than that, I can't think of stuff that's always underpriced, though there's always good deals to be had if the timing's right.

    Good G1's bought cheap.

More seriously, I'd agree with others that the beast wars/beast machines/machine wars era has some GREAT figures for pretty cheap prices.

RID, particularly the Car Bros and their Universe repaints. Though they are starting to inch up in price, I believe. Still..... awesome toys, cheap price.

The G1 sparkabots, I thinkthere all pretty good figures and none of those will break the bank.

I think the egg bots in any condition, Zone transports MiB and loose 1986 triple changers are all good contenders. Egg bots and Zone transports are extremely hard to find, and Sandstorm and Broadside are stupidly cheap compared to their MiB equivalents. I guess not a lot of people like them?

Really? I've never heard of a Nightscream other than the bat-dude.

    On-topic...

I've seen the Insecticons go for $10-30 loose on ebay, which seems pretty good to me, seeing as they're so old and all the rereleases of them are ridiculously expensive. I'll also add my vote for BW/BM and RID.

BWN Galvatron (or maybe it's BW2...I forget). The purple dragon. Great toy, and I got it fairly cheap ($20 + shipping, IIRC). Worth every penny.

A lot of the old G1 merchandising items like pillow cases and etc. can go for really cheap on Ebay or other places. Can get some killer bargains too. Got me a Megatron Microphone for only $15 and it normally goes for $50+.

Insecticons...they can be had for $10 a piece loose and complete.

I second that. I got a box of 20 Snarfs that were still in their individual plastic bags for $12 shipped. Half of them went to my dog, LOL.

Insecticons. If you're lucky like me, you can get a box of 25 (deluxe and regular) for $30. :)  And I typically buy sets of all 3 in decent shape (but rarely complete) for around $15. I loves me some Insecticons!

Also, Cyb. Armorhide. I love that fig.! He can actually take a knee to blast holes in Deceptijerks!
